Just finished my 3rd season

I finished with a .311 with 12 HR and 53 RBI and led the legue in doubles...almost broke my triples record but the pitchers got better and the outfielders got wiser. And nearly everytime i tried to steal..the pitcher would catch me so only 12 stolen bases.

Dodgers made it to the World series pretty easily but the Twins beat us 4-1....ouch

I think i would have been MVP too but i got Fielder of the year

An interesting glitch happened....when they showed the results of the All Star game..the AL won 4-2 but Mia said the NL won with A-Rod being the MVP...so i was confused. Turns out the AL did win.

Garciaparra retired (didnt do that great all of my seasons) and but we traded Kemp, Penny and LaRoche to the Twins, Rangers, and Blue Jays for a couple of boring pitchers.

my salary increased 33% (wouldve been more but i kept asking for higher then it went down.)

in other news my brothers new player's number is 69

Currently in 4th year (2011) with my pitcher, Stars. Playing on the Mariners on expert mode.

Won ROTY in 1st year.
Won Pitcher of the year in 2nd year.
Made all star game a couple of times.

Made playoffs first year, lost in ALDS I think.
Made playoffs second year, lost in ALDS again I think to Boston.
Barely missed playoffs in 3rd year to the Angels by 1 game... My team was leading in late August and choked in September. Red Sox won the World Series.

Now in the 4th year. In the offseason, we re-signed Guerrero(RF), Delgado(1B), Glaus(2B) ( all signed in the offseason of year 1 or 2) We also signed Pujols(1B), but he is the backup to Delgado  He could maybe play DH, but he sits on the bench while Orlando Cabrera plays DH... Our catcher is still Johjima, 3B is still Beltre, CF is still Ichiro, and LF is still Ibanez. Both Ichiro and Ibanez are getting old and are losing stats... Ibanez has G contact and F run speed  And rounding out the field is JJ Hardy playing SS. (got in a trade in year 2 or 3)

I am now in September and getting ready for the playoffs. This year our record is tops in the American League.

The Baseball Biography boosts TRJ, CON, PWR, FLD, E RES, and ARM STR - possibly RUN SPD as well but mine was already peaked by the time I could read the book.

You can also buy the overhead press practice equipment to boost ARM STR.

Get this, after i started over, I had a perfect season literally! I went 29-0, excluding postseason, totalling over 500 K's, over 230+ innings, and and yet, lead in every categorym an still didn't get Rookie of the year! I was going for the most decorated player ever! But all I got was MVP and Pitcher of the year, and to top it all off, I pitched a perfect game in the final game of the World Series, clinching the title for the Giants (In honor of Dennis Martinez!), and not only that, but my contract negotiations never went higher than 2.7 million! That's total bull!

What you're looking at in your profile is whether or not you are Rookie of the Year eligible.

So that's what it means. I always wondered what ROTY meant, and now I know! No wonder I didn't get Rookie of the Year!

WOOT!

In 2011 (4th year) with my pitcher Stars, (expert mode)

My Mariners won the World Series without save/load!!!

-Swept the Red Sox in the 1st round!! (I did not pitch)
-Won 4-3 vs Cleveland in the ALDS! phew. (Won 1 game, lost 1 game that I pitched well in)
-Won 4-1 vs the Mets in the World Series ( I pitched in 1 game, 8 strong innings 2 runs allowed but Johan Santana pitched great through 7 innings no runs allowed. Then they took santana out for a pinch hitter and we came back in the 9th to score 2 runs to tie the game. Then we scored 2 in the 10th and shut down bottom 10th to secure a crucial win to take a 3-1 series lead, and then won the series in another game with the final score 3-2)

Well, I finally got back into the mood to play this mode again. And it was very fun, especially since I had a outburst in august. Expert difficulty, no lock on batting, and normal pitch speed. This was my guys 3rd year in the bigs.

My final season stats
.351 avg
25 2B
1 3B
69 HR's
149 RBI's
14 sb
1 cs
.318 avg w/risp

I won player of the week 3 times
week 17 .500 avg 3 HR 8 RBI
week 19 .435 avg 8 HR 19 RBI
week 24 .440 avg 7 HR 14 RBI

I won player of the month once in August and absolutely tore it up
.417 avg
21 HR
46 RBI

I made the all star game for the first time this year and went 1-2 with a Home run. I also got to play full time LF starting mid august lasting through the whole year and I rarely got taken out for a defensive replacement. I led the majors in home runs and was in top 3 for RBI's and average also.

My Cubs went 112-50 to win the central division, and I haven't played the playoffs yet.

My guys abilities now:
3 trajectory(almost 4)
10 contact
195 power
8 run speed
12 arm strength
8 fielding
7 e res
New blue abilities:
Firstball hitter
Table setter

My first ever post here. I got my '08 more than a month ago, but just started playing Life yesterday.

I use Chien-Ming Wang from NYY as my character. It's the end of May '08 and I am 10-1 (the loss being the season opener) with a sub-1 ERA and 80+ KOs.

The problem I am having right now is that Wang's face/mood is mostly gray between starts and outright purple on the day he starts. I tried chatting with Mia and doing hobbies, but they didn't seem to help. Any suggestions on what I can do to cheer him up?

Thanks.
