How many times do you go back and tell them to negotiate more? is there a disadvantage to having them go back many times? I have a 5 star rating with Darryl and I just stopped on 1.6 mil for the year (rookie mistake) but I got player of the month the whole season, World Series MVP, and the Hank Aaron award. oh yeah also...Best batting avg., HR, and RBI's

I think he will go back 3 times after the first offer, maybe 4. I find Darryl usually has a medium first offer, then gets you more and more for each renegotiation you do. On my first year I got 2.5 mil from darryl after the full amount of renegotiations. On my second I got 15 mil after sending him back each time to renegotiate. 3rd year on, its 30 mil.

Usually by the 3rd season or so I also have about 1 million fans, although Im not sure this makes too much impact on contract terms- its more for all star voting mostly.

Ive never tried to have a bad season to see if the awards make a difference, but I assume they do somewhat. I always take every award (MVPs for all-star and WS, Batting title, Hank Aaron,HRs, RBI...etc...) so all my info is based on having those awards as well.

whoa. i haven't found anything wrong with negotiating more, but I don't have that much experience with it, so...
