How do you have babies?

your wife comes up to you and tells you that she's pregnant, and then some day you rush to the hospital or something like that. never happened to me though...

I've had many babies in this game, and yes. It is VERY dumb. You're wife will tell you she's pregnant and the EXACT due date. Then when that day comes, you get a phone call from "Doctor" and he says your wife is about to give birth. You rush to the hospital, your wife will tell you she's too tired to do anything and asks you to name the baby. THAT'S IT. You can't interact with your child at all.

OMG OMG OMG! Emily is such a pain in the ***. To propose to her, you must get her to attend your game. If your a pitcher, unlucky you. YOu have 1 chance in 5 days and you have to get like a shutout(thats for me) and she would be like you can ask me a question. Obviously, there is only one choice and that is to ask her to marry you. Had to S/L for a long time cause I was in "bad" condition. Im not sure about hitters, but im sure it sould be easier.

Ok i had a baby with Emily and it was so dumb. WHY WOULDNT YOUR WIFE TELL YOU TO COME WITH HER TO THE HOSPITAL. THATS A MORE IMPORTANT THING THAN BASEBALL. you probobly should just skip the game and tell your manager what happened and he would understand, but no u have to play while your wife is in labor. lol

Don't players do that in real life?

Don't players sometimes play even when their wife is giving birth, then right after the game, go to be with their wife?

One time, a player was in a different time zone at about 11:00 PM when his wife gave birth. However, the hospital was in a different time zone so it was already the next day there. So, the scoreboard read: "Congratulations __________
Your new baby was born tomorrow"

A-Rod missed a game cause of the same thing.
