lol this happened to my newest create a player Finn on the mets (who I'll have to get around posting sooner or later. 105 mph A stamina C control level 7 circle change, level 7 orig sinker (more break) 2 seam fastball, flat change, and a developing slow curve) anyway he lost his first 5 games as a starter and at one point was 0-5 with a .85 ERA. Even though his ERA has hovered around 1 throughout the season he's only like 14-6 now (threw 11 innings of no run ball in an eventual ND this afternoon). It always seems to me that the computer guided offense gives any my life pitchers no offensive support at all. You'll be lucky to get 3 runs a game to work with.

Hmm, and I thought this was happening to me because I was playing as the Jays. I'm 13-2 with 5 ND. In every game my team has scored 2 or less runs. I have never given up more than 1 run in a game, both my losses were 1-0. 3 of my ND are BJ Ryan blowing a save (very realistic) and the other two were 0-0 games that ended up with crazy overtime scores (one was 13-11 in the 14th, after a 0-0 first 9 innings???).

It just doesn't make much sense that the Jays score 5-8 runs per game EVERY game when I am not pitching and then when I am they have a tough time scoring 1.

Haha, that's why when your a pitcher and you want to try to help a bad team get get good, you don't choose a team with good pitching but abysal hitting like the Reds. I actually had less then 1 run support a game, but whenever I wasn't pitching, they scored like mad. They were third in runs in the game, but I'm certain I got the least run-support in the game. It was unbelievable. Its like theres a problem with the offense when the computer autos through it and your pitching. Simply unbelievable, it was so frusterating.

Were talking about my life as a pitcher. There appears to be something wrong with the AI offense when your hitting. It seems very strange.

Yes but thats not what were talking about mate, were talking about the low run scorign problems that occur when your PITCHING, not hitting. It appears there is something wrong with the ai.

Everyone faces the same thing with every line-up. At first I thought it was that the AI gets worse to compensate to how good of a pitcher you were, but this happened with a guy who hadn't been "scouted yet" who was made from scratch as a pitcher. Its insane.

Jeez, that's tough. Did your owner get mad at you for not getting the win? The ratings are unfairly based on wins and losses.

I don't think much is weighted on the W for the pitchers on this game. It seems to be more about IP + Ks.

K's don't matter... it's the ERs allowed

I mean in your coaching evaluation as I once pitched a 2-hitter with 2 runs (hit then homer) and got taken out before I could get the last out (I was pissed). I also once gave up four runs in 5 innings and I got a great evaluation because my team some how scored runs and won it.
