funny thing is, my coach said that our aim is to have a top pitching staff
that didn't help that prediction.

JJ Putz for Vizquel. (Putz was league leader in Saves right before break, and we had J-roll like 5th in HR race :?:

I don't remember for who, but Jeter's been traded twice in two years in mine. He was traded to Cincinnatti (who benched him!) in 2008 and then to Detroit in 2009.

Believe it or not in pre-pre-season, Ramirez for Bay! Glad Ramirez is gone, hatting pitching against him right after Ortiz.

Haha I know the feeling. For some reason, Mariano always gets traded to the Cubs. On two of the non-yankees teams, I ways very suprised to see him there (once in the world series with the rays and once with the reds). It was a shame to see the stupid manager have him start every game, he had a 5 ERA as a starter in My Life vrs. the 1.4 he had as a closer.

Anyone ever have a good blockbuster trade on their team?

The blockbuster Trades I have had are:
Scutaro(sp) for three minor leagers
Alex Rios for some guy from the Marlins (who was traded away for a pitcher)
and Vernon Wells for Fukudome (yes great trade for the jays, but with Burnett ,Holliday, and my guy from success, we don't need pitching!!!)

I don't think they were trades but I remember starting a my third year and we (O's) had Sabathia and Oswalt.

Seen Puljos go for Ortiz.

Seen on my team trade Roberts for DeRosa and then get Roberts back at the start of the next season.

It doesnt say anything bout Khrag being atheist does it? Why should you make judgments on people based on their religious beliefs anyway? Just because he might be atheist makes him a douchebag?

Notice how he joined just to say that. Anyway mate, you've probably noticed that its very popular here to put funny quotes in your signature. I have Yogisms in mine :D. Anyway, the quote was simply meant to be funny rather then state his own believes. Its from a comedian and the content of the joke is enjoyable whenever you agree with him or not. Furthermore, there is nothing wrong with being athiest, who cares if he doesn't believe in any religion. It's not like he's trying to convert.. un-convert or whatever you would call it to atheism.

There is nothing wrong with being atheist. Did I say there was? NO. Posting a quote like that on a video game board, is what makes it so douchey.

First you say you dont care about his religious beliefs being atheist (possibly), then call him a douchebag. you didnt say the quote was inappropriate on a game forum and it was douchey, you were referring to his religion

And BTW Cownip, I joined to view the boards, but one of the first things I come across is a religious quote. Which is exactly what should be posted in a board for a video game . with cartoon like characters. (fricken' Canadiens, Go hump a moose)
