3rd year, I'm at 6/8/2010.

.294
17 HR
39 or 40 RBI's
I've been horrible w/risp, due to my major slump at the beggining of the season, I'm just below the mendoza line here.

My first 15 games were a disaster, I was hitting about .120 with only a few RBI's, but then after I hit my first homerun of the season I caught fire. I got to mid may batting .338 with 15 homeruns and have slumped very badly since then. I did acquire firstball hitter in may because I've been a notorious firstball hitter my whole career. I really need to start picking up my game soon, I'm number 3 in the majors for homerun total, but if I don't hit any homeruns soon that might change. It's been a great year for my cubs though, we're in first place due to Zambrano's 0.71 ERA, and Sabathia's 0.94 ERA. I've been starting at 1st base every game, but get taken out when my team fields in the 7th, so my coach always yells at me for going 0-2 when I don't get a hit, and there's no possible way I can help them in the late innings which really dissapoints me. I've been batting clean up since I caught fire in mid april. Interleague play just started and I'm DH'ing so that means I get to be in the whole game, but it comes at a bad time ecause I've been slumping badly. I really think when I hit free agency I'll probably go to the AL and try to be a DH because of my bad fielding stats and my desire to play the whole game. I have 7 in both fielding and e res, which it's impossible to raise e res now, but fielding I've raised 2 points from the start of my career.

In my season Zambrano and C.C. are on the Cubbies too. They usually kill my stros and end our winning streaks.

As a team we're doing well but it seem slike the GM is trying to kill our season. Before the trading deadline, He traded K-Rod (MLB leader in saves) for Dice K. Dice K is handing business but K-Rod was the guy putting everyone away. We have an old Todd Jones closing now and he isn't as productive as he used to be.

A week or two later, he traded our Ace, Roy Oswalt, for Scott Rolen. My guy is at third and he is the reigning MVP putting up more MVP numbers. Rolen has been riding the bench and doing limited pinch hitting. Oswalt has won the CY Young two of the past 3 years. Quite the debacle. For about a week, the starting rotation was Josh Becket, Roy Oswalt, Dice K, John Garland, and Wandy Rodriguez. I could do without Wandy but we were shutting teams down. Now we've got a rookie in Oswalt's spot and let's just say he's throwing beach balls up there.

That's funny, I'm pretty sure Dice K is on the Astros in my game also.

Dice k is on the padres for me. The red sox are ripping everyone in the league off right now soI don't think they have to worry about losing him

im in my 3rd year

in 2008 i did pretty bad...i had to go down to AAA twice but i finished with a .263? i think (too lazy to check right now) and my team (Dodgers) lost in the league chamionships to the Mets (curse you New York!)

in 2009 my character did very well...leading the league in triples and stolen bases and the Dodgers won the world series but earler we traded Saito for Beltre (???) and then Saito retired (???!!!)

i think im a bit under payed (1.6mil) for finishing .311 last season with 56 RBIs and 2 HRs but i'm just entertained by the Mariners dominated the American League

Haha, I'm so lucky. Fighting for a Opening Day spot (remember the manager: Don't give up a run in any of your outings) I got into a jam twice, and both times I left on elbow pain before giving up a run. And after the game I didn't even have any injuries! LOL

How do you manually steal bases in MLB Life? I can only control the game whenever I'm at bat. Also, to boost yourself on the Wii, do you press B and Z simultaneously or alternate between them?
