Suddenly I've got "Great Pinch Hitter" ability and Torre will never give me a chance to start.

Waiting for this year to be over... maybe I'll start getting at bats again.

No starts? That's lame. In situations like that, the demand a trade option idea sounds better and better.

Well, my second season came to an end last night. My stats...

.349 average
29 homeruns
77 RBI's
11 for 15 sb attempts
something like .376 w/risp
I played in every single game and started probably all but about 4-5

I was put into the clean up spot for the last month of the season and I got really hot, I hit 10 homeruns and had probably 25 or more RBI's. I hit around .345 for the month, I got ripped off of some player of the week awards too. One week I hit probably 6 homeruns while batting .400 for that week but they just hate me in this game. I also think I should've won the player of the month award for the NL, I had better everything but average than David Wright and it was only a 10 point difference. We made the playoffs but lost in the first round to the Diamondbacks 3-2. The most dissapointing thing in that series was that CC Sabathia went 12 innings in one of the games and we couldn't score a run and let up a run in the 12th, so I felt pretty bad after that. He was a huge part of our success this season going 20-2 with a 0.84 ERA and went 8-9 innings every single start.

I got a $1,181,000 contract for this upcoming year, I thought I would get more since I hit 29 homeruns, but I guess that isn't impressive to them. Well, I guess too many LF's isn't enough for the cubs we signed Dave Roberts another LF. I really don't see why they are doing this, it makes no sense. Hopefully we can get back to the playoffs next year and win the world series.

I think contracts are dependent on the number of years you play and you fan totals as well as your performance. You can hit 62 HRs and only make $2.3mil the next year if you don't have the fans. You put up great numbers and you should be getting more.

I doubt I'll get traded since they start me everyday at 1st base, so Derek Lee is on the bench and comes in for me around the 6th or 7th inning every game so I won't have an opprotunity to have really big seasons. I only got around 350 AB's last year, so that makes me mad, even though I played in every game and started most. We now have 4 LF's Dunn, Soriano, Roberts and me. I wouldn't mind getting traded if it meant I could play every game at my normal position but because of my bad fielding stats it will be hard to get the CPU to play me the whole game. I made a ton of errors(around 25) at 1st base last year because of my 5 fielding(now 7) and 7 e res, along with the fact that I have a G rating at first base so that makes me 10x worse there.

I think so too, they wont give up the big money until I've played more years, which when I go to FA I might scope out a team without a good LF so I can play my natural position. So, I'm not sure if I'll ever get huge money with the cubs, maybe in years 5 and 6 I might.

I got through my first season with my 1B, and went .402, 75, 136. I am thinking he will have a good career. I want to get out of Boston though, as I am tired of fly balls turning into doubles.

Alright! So I just finished my first season with my created player, and I have to say, it was alot harder than I thought! I got scouted pretty heavily, about a handful of teams were able to do well against me, compared to other teams. Still one, but they actually got a couple runs. Ended the season with a .17 or .22 ERA, with 388 Ks, 27 (or 21, could have mistaken the 1 for a 7), and pitched a total of 159.1 innings. Using darryl, my contract is worth about 2.5 million, while with Matthew, it's worth about 1.2 million. I could have used more to get out of debt, but man, 2.5 mil isn't bad at all.

Anyways, for those who think it's too easy to play My Life with a created character, it's actually harder, considering the computer adjusts more to you than a regular player.

Yes you can steal third. I'm at 131 unfortunatly in mid september. My steals pace was just mostly luck early on because my low contact isn't going to get me on base much until I improve it.

I am up to the All-Star game and my Jays have made a few trades. We picked up Bronson Arroyo from the Reds for 3B Rolen...don't mind this trade because Rolen is batting 8th or 9th and Arroyo has had some good games including a perfect game for me. On the badside we traded Jensen (stat wise fine with him leaving) and League (7-2 4sv 2.21 era) to the braves for Saltalamaci, which I thought sucked. We also sent Arcardo, had been doing excellent, for Pirates 2b Rivas? One good trade and two bad ones, going to miss League the most, was 2cd on my team in wins and 2cd in era.
I know we needed some offense but neither Saltalmaci nor Rivas is even starting!

For all you Cubbies out there, out this for a trade for ya. Zambrano, and Lilly went to the Braves for backup CF Greg Miller! Looks like the Cubs are dumbing salary. Miller is all E and F in all stats.

This happened just before trade deadline!

Here's a tip that might help you. Rapid fire the triangle button until the pitcher goes into his windup. Then mash R1 and L1 as fast as you can. This trick is better for stealing third since pitchers rarely ever try to pick off to second. I'm not sure what the wii equivelant of this is so someone needs to figure that out.
