I'm currently in my 2nd season of My Life with a success player (CF) and I think I've figured out how to increase the experience level for all of the hitting abilities except "Refined" and "Rally Hitter". How can I gain experience for these abilities? Are there any conditions that have to be met before you can start getting experience (e.g. have to have max contact before you can start getting "Refined" experience)? I've tried just smacking singles every game so that I'd be getting hits when my team falls behind (to get "Rally Hitter"), but that hasn't worked yet. I'd be happy to contribute what I know about gaining experience in the other abilities if anyone is interested. Thanks in advance.

I haven't had a chance to try more than once to see if it keeps happening, but I triggered an increase in Rally Hitter last night by inviting Darryl over to play video games.

The key here is video games. There are some games, I can 't recall exactly which ones, but certain games increase Rally Hitter and others increase Tough Out. I still have no idea how to get Refined.

I personally want to know how to get "Star" and "Gd Rain".

I want to know how to get poor rain and gyroball.

Are Poor Rain and Good Rain leanrable? I know they weren't at all last year. I haven't though to look.

Sall good. When I first read your answer I was thinking, maybe it's a secret book you can if you reach a certain point in your career.

Thanks for the Rally Hitter ideas. I'll have to buy the console and start playing video games to see what I can do.



I've been trying to up my chess skill in the hopes that they'd have an impact on learning "Refined" since it is described as "a smart hitter with a great swing". No luck yet, but I'm only at a D (3/4 to C) so either something will happen there or there will be other things to try. Thanks again!

Good idea with the Chess thing. Sounds like it might be the clue. I'm up to a high C with it so Once I get to A, I'll let you know.

The only other things I could think of would be Style and Culture as a more "refined" person would be well-read culture and have a sense of style.

Maybe you get refined from a girl? And has anyone used the mirror yet? that might increase something.

Both my Style and Culture are A's but nothing came of it. I know maxing fishing gives you Throwing 4. Yeah i used the mirror. it just gives you the password and that's it
