I created a player. got him thru the success mode and started playing the life mode. i saved everything on the 8mb card. i then bought a 64mb card and transferred everything to it. sadly, i ended with 2 corrupted files, but couldn't figure which one they were. later i realized it was my main mlbpp2008 file to which i had registered the player. I tried to start a season, but I couldn't find my player. I had to create a new file. The funny thing is that i still have my lost player in mlb life and can still use it. tried to use the mirror of truth to retrieve the password for it but all i got was the message saying, NOTHING HAPPENED.

Is there a way i can recuperate my player or will he fade into oblivion when i finish mlb life?

did you use the $50,000 gold mirror? That doesn't do anything. Also, your player is saved at the end of life mode on the title screen. You choose "MLB life roster" from mlb life

the other one is a fake, which is what oakley was talking about, since he's poor and can't afford the other mirror.

Hmm, don't think it matters, but which oakley did you have? Chone Figgins-type utility? or a pitcher? what are his pitcher stats? He isn't that good as a fielder, but can play everywhere except catcher.

Only reason asking would be if he had good pitching stats, might make more than 390k, but he's just not good enough as a fielder to do so. (not that i know his salary, i'm just guessing.)
