Do any of you use big swing on expert level? I tried using it, but the ball isn't pitched anywhere near the cursor anymore so I am swining and missing a lot. Can you hit HRs without the big swing?

Here's a tip. Go to where the pitcher first sets up the cursor. That most likely will be close or right on where the pitcher is going to throw it. If the second move is very close to where he first set up, that he will hit that first spot or will be very very close to it. The second move is almost always just to throw you off.

If the second move is far way from the first spot, it's usually best to set up in between both spots. 50% chance of it ending up there. Normally I take this pitch because it is hard to hit one of these well.

Hitting HRs with normal swing is extremely rare and usually only happens it you have a guy with at least high B low A type power. Power Hitter wouldn't hurt either.

In my experience with the expert level, the pitch is never close to anywhere the cursor is. I know the stratgey you speak of, but it just doesn't seem to hold water in My Life mode (it does work in success though).

Well, my guy is a completed success mode character with high B power and Power Hitter so maybe I could put a couple out with contact swing

The strategy has been working pretty well for me in My Life. It's not always 100% effective but it's been getting the job done. You wont really see results if you're not starting though. One at bat a game won't help you find any rhythm. You also wont hit .350 with big swings.

If you just go for base hits for a while, you will pick up the pattern and soon enough you'll be slugging away. It's best to use big swing when you see the pitcher getting tired or in a bad form. You can hope for mistakes and crush those. Watch the wind too.

It's not bad, on pace for 50 HR. Just swing when the opposing pitcher is tired.
