Well i just ordered the game like 3 days ago ive been playing MLB 2k9 and that game just down right make me go nuts so i seen this game around the net and found it for a cheap price and bought it, ive been reading the forum and getting some news and info on the game and my one question is after ready about the roster updates is how hard is it to update them to match the rosters of now like v-mart on the redsox and pudge back in texas because as soon as i get this game i will be spending some time updateding them as much as i can. thanks

Its very easy to trade manny for bay, the pirates will accept. I even got a few points in season together with bay.

First off, welcome to the forums!

Also, the only way to do "roster updates" is to do Arrange mode for all 30 teams, and put the players there on their new teams. But with no David Price or Rick Porcello, or many other key players, it's tough.

you can send any player to a different team(but make sure you remove the player from that team that he was on before after you add him)

BUT you can make players by success mode and more easily you can edit a player, change them into that player that you want like porcello or price(edit looks, abilties, bats, and etc) but if you make a 22 year old, then use a young player to edit them from because if you make david price and edit him from randy johnson, then Price will be 45 years old

exactly

edit: make sure to edit lineups and rotations too

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY

if you edit rosters, then make sure you make Harden into a STARTER or else he'll be the Cubs closer(edit him and go to abilties and choose starter)

and if a guy is a closer, then go to abilties and tag him as closer or else he might not close for the team. It won't work for eveyr team but it will for alot

AND if you hate the purple line like I do, then go to options in season mode and find name underbar and turn it off and you'll be good(it also gets rid of the draft line and success mode orange line)

cool thanks i just got done reading the manuel and from what i read now i can only edit rosters in arrange mode which is in season mode?????

nope arrange mode is at the beggining

but also, to put those teams in season mode, go to the place where you select a team and then put arrange teams in and fill the arrange teams into the real teams

but thats for when you finish it

Post subject:  Re: new here

lucky. I love going to fenway park but fenway hasn't treated me well at all lately

this starts from last year:

Blowout win vs O's - 2008

Blowout win Vs Rangers - 2008

Walk-off win Vs O's - 2008 (Walkoff throw the ball into left field)

Close win Vs Blue Jays - 2009

8-1 Loss in ALCS Game 3 against rays - 2008

3rd game of year against Rays by 1 - 2009

2 run loss to Mets on a friday night - 2009

5-3 win over nationals - 2009 (At Nationals Park. Sat behind 10,000,000th fan at nationals park)

Last nite 5 run loss to White Sox (it was ugly)

So I go to games every so often, I need parents money to do this stuff so I don't go to many games but I haven't gone to a game where the red sox have won in awhile(at fenway @ least)

oh well nothing I can do and feel free to look around, look at passwords for players and post and what not, it's a fun forum as long as you follow the rules

but other then that i went to the M's game when they were in town it was the saturday game which the sox won LOL i almost cried it was soooooo sweet plus the sea of red in the stands just made it feel like i was in boston LOL

my friend has season tickets to the m's so every sunday unless something else comes up we go to the game we sit right up behind home plate.
