Does choosing shortcut mode for success 08 make events that give u abilities not happen or does it affect your player is what im trying to say :?: :?

No, it removes the tutorial and makes it so you don't have to read as much.

When you do shortcut on '07 (out of experience), you only get ONE fate card.
