They just lost my money twofold - I would've bought DS version when it came out, AND bought a DS just for this game! $130 I get to keep from nintendo.
Looks like i'll still be on target to buy the Wii version of 2008...in 4-5 months.

I'm really looking forward to the DS version. I usually don't have enough time for the Wii... Funny thing is... I have well over 500,000 points on it that I can't use because I've unlocked everything. (Its the only game my brother will play with me, lol) Hopefully they'll find a way to make extra points more worthwhile in the new versions of the game. |

Not entirely sure if the version provided will be the same, i believe the DS version above shows the japanese league game, the mlb one may be slightly different. |

Any idea if DS has My Life mode? The Amazon entry said so, but it may have been copied from the Wii/PS2 blurb. With the amount of travelling I do, and having to share the big-screen TV, I am legitimately considering buying the DS just for this game. Would certainly give me something to do while waiting for the gf at the train station... Any idea of DS/Wii password compatibility? |

DS doesn't have my life, success mode, or season. This is what I have heard, but I've seen a few blurbs saying it does have those things, but again, it could be a copy of the ps2/wii text. A post somewhere had the japanese version of this year's and all of the previous pocket games had a success and season mode - so why wouldn't this one? |

No MLB Life, Success or Season mode will be included in the DS Version. (IGN has screenshots) This game will hold peoples interest for about a week. Looks like I won't be buying this crap. I have mixed feelings. On one hand, I hope no one else buys it either in protest. On the other hand, if no one buys it, Konami might not be able to justify producing one next year. Whoever made the decision to give us a watered down version of this awesome title deserves to be kicked in the nuts with a hard pointy shoe! |

Well, I'm certainly very disspaointed. I won't be buying the DS version. I thought the DS would be the best sports game platform ever between this and Tecmo Bowl. Let's hope Tecmo Bowl delivers in November. |
