Hey guys. I had a fun idea the other day, and I need someone's help to do it. Could somebody make a rookie version of Pedro Martinez for me? I would like him on the Dodgers with his number 45. I figured I would use him in an MLB Life mode and try to work him through the teams he was on for the right amounts of time (for Expos, I'll just try to get him on the Nats). Could someone help please? Thanks!

I could make him after I finish harvey. What year do you want me to base his skills off of? 1993?

Yeah, '93 would be good. I'm gonna try and get him on the Nats in his second year. Is that possible?

Only by trade (because of the 6 year F/A thingy). I want to ask a few questions to clarify things:
1) Want me to make him as young as possible?
2) Want me to make him look exactly his player model in MLB PP 2008?
3) Should I just give him the same pitches and their breaking ball levels as the ones he has in MLB PP 2008?

EDIT:
4) I assume you want him to have a rookie status... (1993 was considered his rookie season)

1) I would like him to be the age he was as a rookie.
2) You can make him look like the player model, but give him shorter hair like he had when he was younger.
3) You can give him the same pitches, but give him slightly lower levels so he has room to grow.
4) Yes, I would like him with rookie status.

Is it possible to request a trade?

Yeah I can do all of that, no problem.

For requesting, I don't think so. Talking to the coaches and managers doesn't do that. So you'll just have to play the 6 years and then declare F/A

Alright. Guess I'll just skip the Nats and go straight for the Red Sox, then. He played five years for the Dodgers and Expos combined, so that's close enough.

Yeah, going to boston would be your best bet. And I will make a thread in the "Password Exchange" area once I finish harvey. Then just tell me if you're okay with it

Alright. Thanks jag! And of course I want him in Boston. I'm a HUGE Sox fan lol.

Actually, would making him play on the nationals be better? He played there (Montreal) for a much longer time than he did with the dodgers. And 1993 was his last year in LA.

And an IMPORTANT QUESTION:
Should I use his 1994 stats instead? That's when he was (almost) a full time starter. started 23 out of the 24 games he played in.
I could remove his rookie status if you want, or should I just keep him as a rookie?

I would like him as a rookie. But you can put him on the Nats if you want. He only played really two years in LA, and only one full one. So go for it.

As for stats, you can go with the '94 stats. It's fine with me.
