First off, I wasn't sure if this thread should be in Season mode or here, but thought it would work better here. Anyways, as some of you may already know, I am going to be doing a Sin City Devils season log that should go up around spring training. I have decided to open up the roster to you guys, and I am currently taking requests for players on the team. Requests should look like this: First Last-Position-Uniform Number-B/T How you want your player to look (hair style/color, glasses, etc.) Abilities (gd pickoff, contact hitter, etc.) Stats (for hitters-power, contact, etc. for pitchers-pitch types/ratings, stamina, etc.) Anything I forgot/anything else I am planning on having 2 catchers, 1 first baseman, 1 2b, 1 SS, 1 3B, 4 OFs, and 2 utility men. I would also like having 5 SPs, 7 RPs, and a closer. |

Pete Grossman - 1B - #62 - S/L Light skin, short brown hair, eyes #2- brown Power Hitter, Intimidator (Contact/Spray Hitter are also good) 3 trj, B con, A pwr, G run spd, F arm str, F fld, E e res Favorite Team: Red Sox Birthday: 9/23, make him 20 years old If possible try to make him a decent pitcher, 80mph/F/E or something like that |

Ok. One quick question: How do I give a 1B pitching capabilities? I'm sort of new to Success mode, and am not sure how to do this. Other than that, I will get started on him asap. |

You can't give him any pitches though, until Spring Training of season mode. |

For your question on adding pitching abilities. You are fairly limited in what abilities you can give a fielder. Most abilities you will need to go for surprise bags or rely on random events. However as far as the pitches themselves like curveballs and sliders, unless your player is primarily a pitcher and not fielder (the initial position you choose), you can't get any because fielders cannot acquire breaking ball points. |
