He'd definitely be an A run speed.

If someone does make him, please make it realistic and not the stats quoted above. Gardner has 5 HR's in parts of 3 seasons, so C power is unrealistic. He also has 9 homers in 5 season in the minors. That is not C power.

If you check the Wiki, there is a pointer to where a few folks made projections for all 2009 rookies, including Gardner.

Gardner was made for the PS2 here as a more realistic version already: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3248

Finally, I believe there's a rule of one open request per poster here. So you might want to do one of these yourself and post them, and ask the forum to do the other.

Just FYI, due to his great performance this year, I will be making a Brett Gardner. Stats will be like Rob Hallets were:

Brett Gardner
L/L
CF/LF
#11
Contact 7
Power 60-65
Running Speed 14
Arm Strength 10
Fielding 9
TRJ 2
E-res 11

Gd B2B hitter
Tough out
Hot Hitter
Base Running 4
Stealing 4
Agg. Run

I'm just a few months in, but could have him done and posted tomorrow.

Complete.

I left Gardner's speed as a 13, because I gave him Base Running and Stealing 4. Scout ratings were 70/80, so he's not 15 or even 14 IMO. I did the best I could on fielding - he got a ton of abilities like Cannon Arm, and tons of hitting abilities like B2B, Rally, etc. So I left his contact and power low - the abilities will make up for any difference. He should be very close to the raw player he was in 2008.

I would appreciate it immensely if other Wii players would create a guy or two now and then. Still quite a bit missing, but it;s not enough to make the game unplayable yet.

Ok, i'll do that. I'll just have to find my camera and get those pictures.

Great! Are there any you've already done? Or are you just planning to start making one?

I am doing Nelson Cruz right now, then maybe Casey McGehee. But tons of pitchers and others are missing, many who made 2008 debuts. If you need any help or direction, just start with that hyperlinked post a ways back, my first in this thread. Make guys you are familiar with, so that you can get the looks right. And make them in 2008 form, so that when starting a new game they need to develop into what they are today.

I hope this version of Gardner works out for you.

Well i haven't made any "real" players, just some people from my baseball team i messed around with, they turned out pretty well. I would make some real players, but the thing is I'm quite new to the whole creating players thing so the players might not be close to the real thing.
Although i can't get better without trying. Maybe i'll try doing Ramiro Pena.

Thanks again for the code!
