I want a Bryce Harper Player. You know, the guy that hit that 570ft. homer. He's in SI this week
Pos: C
Age: 18
Eyes don't matter as long as they are brown and arn't the defalt ones
Hair: Short Buzz with short sideburns
Hair Color: Light Brown
Eye Black or Sunglasses with black frames and orange lenses (what ever you prever)
Stats
Trj: 4
Contact: B
Power: A (as high as you can get, maxed if you can)
Run Speed: A (maxed)
Arm Strength: A (maxed)
Fld: B
E Res: B

Power Hitter, Star, Gd Block, Great Catcher, Trash Talk (would like to have, not nessiceary)

Also, if you could give him a 96 mph fastball(not nessiceary, a want, not a need)

Sure, why not. I'll take a crack at it anyway. I've seen plenty of footage and have been reading about him since the Area Code Games last August. Be warned: I'm not on summer break so it will take some time. Also, the last few months of AAA will be extra slow because of the the 96 mph fastball. If you were hoping to have him in a week, you might want to ask somebody else.

A few questions:

- TRJ 4? Not 3? Are you sure? He hits the ball a mile but they aren't rainmakers - more like the really, really big line drive variety. Same with his speed, which scouts grade as "major league average w/ good instincts." To me that sounds like SPD 10 or 11, maybe 12 (still great for a catcher) w/ Base Running ability. Also, his eyes are blue. Just a few thoughts if you are going for realism, but I'm cool with whatever you want.

- Uniform number? Bat color? Glove color? Wristbands?

- Are those the EXACT Abilities you want? In other words, no more, no less, under any circumstances? I don't blame you for not wanting more. Abilities are expensive when it's time to sign a guy.

UPDATE: S/L for Pr Sense last night and got it after about 25 attempts. As the projected #1 pick in 2011, I made Harper's default team the Pirates. He has the Richie Sexson swing (which looks nothing like the real Richie Sexson) and the Overhand 23 delivery, a personal favorite of mine. I should be able to bang out a couple weeks worth of commands tonight.

Thanks Man. For the bat, make it black. For the glove, light brown. Wristbands should be both Red. Uni # 34. Sure he can have blue eyes, JUST MAKE SURE THEY ARN'T THE DEFAULT ONE'S!!!!!!! Try to get more abilities if you can but not TOO much. Keep Trj. at 4 (I just want him that way).

How many is too much? I can get as many abilities as you want, and that includes any or all of them.

I really want all abilities that end in "hitter". Except for the fielding abilities I mentioned, no more fielding abilities.

UPDATE:

Played for a couple of hours last night, nearly half of which was spent S/L for the Gambler's Ring. This is where we are:

START >>> Bryce Harper, C/3B (PIT) -- B/T L/R (Richie Sexson / Overhand 23) -- age 18 (Oct. 1)
START >>> TRJ 2 / CON 4 / PWR 62 / SPD 6 / ARM 5 / FLD 4 / RES 6 / (Pr Sense)

1 2 1 Pra Weights: 5 cards
1 2 2 Pra Weights: 5 cards
1 2 3 FT Lookout: Frank: Upper Body
1 2 4 FT Street: Frank: Late night broast ball: Insomnia
1 3 1 FT Hospital: Insomnia cured
RE Jaw arrives
1 3 2 FE Bison arrives: Discount Coupon
FT Street: Jaw: Find Dog (2 Wks): Surprise Bag: Gambler's Ring
1 3 3 Bst Pwr 81
FT Lookout: Frank: Coffee: Are you treating?

Normally, I would spend the first couple of weeks on the Street picking up Gd Morale, Throwing and some energy points, but Harper is going to be all about the power - power bat and power fastball - and it's kind of refreshing not having to grind out a maxed player.

Per your request, here are the 11 special abilities I have mapped out for Harper - let me know if you want me to add/subtract something:

Contact Hitter
Power Hitter
Spray Hitter
Hot Hitter
Rally Hitter
Gd Block
Grt Catcher
Trash Talk
Sparkplug
Tough Runner
Star

Actually, could you let him have Trj 3? If he already has Trj 4 its ok. Doesn't really matter. I just noticed that people with Trj 3 hit homers more often. Also, could you post the lettter along with the # for stats? I'm not that good at figuring out what letter it would be.

The Throwing ability doesn't matter. Not much of a difference. He is really crushing the ball!

Bryce Harper just enrolled at the College of South Nevada so he can be eligible for the 2010 draft. Looks like the Nationals picked a good time to be the worst team in baseball.
