Dish made a realistic Joyce a while back I'm pretty sure.

I'll do Reimold, I was thinking something like 3/7/140/8/9/6/10. Not sure for abilities

thanks for the praise PhilliesFan134. I sometimes look back on this as wasted time/effort, but with this forum and wiki still being actively used today, and others still creating players...well it's clear this game had staying power. If they had made more US versions, it would be a mixed blessing - I'd love the bug fixes and new rosters, but I'd hate having to create the players all over again! haha.

At this point I still consider it a mission to make the 2008 rosters usable for a 5-7 year stretch...which for me means making about 15-20 more players in success mode. Anyone drafted before '08 (so no Brett Wallace), anyone that debuted and made a serious impact...I've pretty much pared my list down to

[list]

This is after finishing off Andrew Bailey, Jaime Garcia, and Daniel Nava in short order on Sunday. once I finish those remaining above, I would say the game is okay as is, to replay 2008 thru maybe 2012 or 2013. Although I might nerf BJ Upton, I get so sick of him coming to the plate in the top 10 in HRs, lol. It still can't be played for too long, since the 40+ guys hang around and the draftees all suck.

If anyone wants to help make the guys above, or has a REALISTIC version already, hit me up!

you're very welcome, man. It would have been easier all along to just edit the older guys into the game instead of creating them. Ex: Clayton Richard is one of the White Sox' "Great" players, Janish born in 1982, Ziegler born in 1979, Elbert born in 1985, Jaso born in 1983, Cabrera in 1986 (change Billy Butler)... that would have saved time. I get the idea you were going for though.

Other guys like Tillman and Neftali can't be changed in because no one in there was born in '88. That said, I'll check the exchange for you to see if any of the above have been made.

Only two out of these guys have been made from what I can tell.

Joyce:

Feliz:

I'm pretty sure redsfan made Santana for me but it wasn't posted, probably sent through PM.

yeah that Feliz looks no good...not something I would import.

Joyce looks decent - high power, but close enough for it to work maybe. I've added him to the wiki (and took him off my to-make list). Thanks man!

I made a version of Feliz a long time ago with 85 mph top speed, lol

If I ever get around to playing Power Pros again I'll see if I can do a few of these guys.

I'm going to fire the ol' Wii up and see if I can knock out Jaso, Stubbs, and Ziegler. I'll post the passwords/abilities as soon as I finish them!

Brandon Guyer, one of my personal favorites was drafted in 07, I'll make him too

Just some advice here. For contact, after some research, I've discovered that each contact level has a certain corresponding batting average.
.199- =3
.200~.214=4
.215~.229=5
.230~.244=6
.245~.259=7
.260~.274=8
.275~.289=9
.290~.304=10
.305~.319=11
.320~.334=12
.335~.349=13
.350+ =14

Keep in mind, a players contact rating should be AVG vs. RHPs. Also, the game doesn't really use 1,2 and 15 in anything.

Edit: sorry for DP

I had a guy with 15 contact hit .220-ish.

Season mode is different, I'm talking about when you give your success mode guys stats. Just last week I had a guy on my season team with A power and contact hit .211 with 8 HRs while playing 162 games

Oh, okay, I see what you're saying now.

Also for power, 140 power = 20 HRs, plus 3 for every one over 20 and minus 3 for every one under 20. For speed, do the same thing and whatever rating you end up with is the run speed number. For example, 31 SBs would end up at 173, which is a high B, therefore, 13

Sorry for DP again, but Fangraphs has defensive ratings on players on a scale of 1-100, this helps me a lot when making players

I noticed that Chase Headley wasn't completed. Would it be a possible if he was put on that list, of those players, that you guys are focusing on first?
