Wow - Dr K and jacobye, thanks so much. Zink, Mirabelli, and a lot of the 2008 rookies are now represented.

The wiki page is coming along: wiki/index.php?title=Real-Life_Rejects

Some of those just link back to forum posts; eventually I'll crop the password images down and put them up on the wiki.

Players we have, but aren't up yet:
Lance Neikro - jacobye
Bartolo Colon - drmario
Wladimir Balentien - drmario
Elvis Andrus - drmario
Freddy Garcia - drmario
Matt Joyce - drmario
Grant Balfour - drmario (We have one up there, but Balfour really needs to be a 98mph+)
Pedro Alvarez - drmario (There's another floating around, but his stats are a bit too high for me)
Brett Gardner - drmario

Players we need (in order of importance)
Clayton Kershaw (Amazing curveball, but still a rookie! B/C stamina, D control?)
Roger Clemens (He's 46 now. robhallett made a killer version for PS2 - I dunno about all the abilities, but it's close).
Jeff Clement - good hitting catcher/dh for the mariners
Trot Nixon - he was in 07 - decent backup RF, maybe LF as 2nd position - agg fielder, but D/D or worse con/pow)
Adam Stern - decent speed, decent fielding OF'er
and more, and more!

Ponson is in the game already, right? Ranger's roster?

I'll post some of these in password requests if that gets them moving...but just this weekend I completed 8 guys of my own, and added about 10 via passwords from you guys. thanks so much, we'll have full realistic rosters in about 3 to 4 weeks! Then I can finally start my season! :D

No problem, and no hurry! You and Jacoby have been great to help on this. you're well ahead of my, I only have 2 or 3 of these guys; I've been spending my time on my custom team. I won't get around to making anyone until maybe Bowden in a week or so.

If we get Dr Mario's guys in here, we'll be able to give folks the possibility of having a full 10-year season mode and have it feel decently realistic for a few years out.

Thanks - Neikro looks good, I'll enter him tonite into my game (with Mirabelli, woohoo!)

For Kershaw, Dr Mario had a whole thread of development: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1850&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=kershaw -give that a look if you need details

Try to follow that - a real good DCB, 96mph top speed, but some negatives - not great control (F-E), other pitches 1-2 range should be good. Dr K is a fine ability with this strikeout rate.

I think I could go with E control and B stamina if I want to get a few abilities and 96 mph but I'll try

Actually, he's a great on the Dodgers and I think Dr Mario already made him so I'm not gonna make him. I'll think of someone to make though

Ok! that is fine.

Check if Ponson is already on the Rangers....I think he is.

Clemens is really the biggest fish out there - I'm saving him for when I can get Intimidator. I think he might be the only pitcher on this list that has earned it.

If he's too tough for you, go for Bruce Chen or Casey Fossum, both are easier 5th starter types. Just find a scouting report, or starta new thread asking for help and we'll go there.

Ponsons in the game on the twins. We should think about making some of starting fielders first. Examples are chris Getz, gardner, carlos gonzalez, mike aviles etc
I really want to have carlos gonzalez though

Besides gardner i dont know who those are - i think Aviles is on the Royals?

Go ahead, make them - I didnt know about your other players (Snider, Davis, etc) either, so make anyone you want! This project can use up to 200 players, right? :)

Still waiting for people to jump in, create realistic, real-life players like Mike Aviles, Carlos Gonzales, Elvis Andrus, etc. Please help out, create your favorite prospect on your favorite team (that we don't already have). I'm looking for anyone with a Wii - we have at least 10-20 players to go before rosters are realistic, and at least 30 players including free agents that could/should be in the game. Jump in, create one, make a thread so we can discuss/pinpoint their stats, team, age, MLB service, etc if you need help.

Would you be intrested in the Mike Costanzo drmario made for me? You'll need some AAA guys, right? And he did play in the WBC for italy. For the PW, the middle column is the same, the pics. just overlapped a little. his stats are on my log for him.
