I am just starting on Jeanmar Gomez, but I found this guy on Wikipedia, and as another 1988 birth, even tho he has had little impact, why not add? Eric Davis in 2011 had this as his pitch repertoire: Quote: Nathan Adcock , R , 34 , 94 , 4SFB , x , 43% , -.2 Nathan Adcock , R , 34 , 94 , KNCB , 2 , 27% , -.2 Nathan Adcock , R , 34 , 94 , SIFB , 2 , 18% , -.2 Nathan Adcock , R , 34 , 94 , CHG , 3 , 12% , -.2 Rob Davis just posted this as 2015 updated rosters: Quote: RP Nathan Adcock 95 118 80 KNCB 2 SIFB 2 CHG 3 V-Slider 3 GB Pitcher, release 2, vs LH Hitter 4 So we have some disagreement on pitches and abilities! Top spd: 94-96 somewhere Stam: well he has started, so he'll get at least high D. But I think he'll go in as an RP. Ctrl: either 105-ish, or 110 with walk. 3.41 BB/9 in the minors, but over 4 in MLB. Hmm. SIFB 2 agreed upon, his main sinker KNCB 2 agreed upon CHG 3 agreed upon by the two of them but robhallett came out with V-SLD 3 too, which gives him some pretty solid pitches…hmm I think I see what it is - the CHG is too fast (86mph), so putting it as a V-SLD might work? its not a SPLT. I see a SL with minimal movement (like level 2, maybe 3) as his other main pitch aside from SIFB There's also a 2SFB 1 and a CUT 1 that he used occasionally, wow. So! My goals: SIFB 2 SLD 2-3 V-SLD or CHG 3 KNCB 2 CUT 1 2SFB 1 Fastball Life 2 - this guy gets hit around .292 on it Release 2, meh, in MLB time CS is 27%, thats average really…in the minors its 31%, he seems fine here Sandbag could work, to enforce the crappiness of his results Durability 2 is a maybe, with his tear this season that took him out for half the year Vs Lefty 4: well in his MLB time he's done better, but that's 123 innings, and the minor leagues say otherwise. I will not get this. I don't think he qualifies for any other reds or blues, but let me know your thoughts plz! |

My thoughts: Top Speed 97 - Hit it this season Control - I would go as low as 90. You could give him Walk if you want. I like to avoid it because it ruins a pitcher Stamina - I was gonna say 75-85 Slider 3 Knuckle Curveball 3 Changeup 1 Sinking Fasball 3 Fastball Life 2 - I agree with this Durability 2 - Sounds good Groundball Pitcher? - Not consistent with >50% but career is at 52.1%, maybe take a look into it? |
