My thoughts: From now on, I'll start to use stats from the prior 3 seasons (or more depending on injuries and whatnot) LF/CF Trajectory 2 Contact 8 Power 116 Speed 13-14? Arm Strength 6 Fielding 11 Error Resistance 12 Firstball Hitter Good Infield Hitter Base Running 4 Stealing 4 Aggressive Stealer So this is weird, for the last 3 seasons, his BA W/RISP is .311 (career is at .294). Both qualify for Clutch 4, I've never thought of him to have it but that's what the stats show us. Maybe I should increase the threshold to .025/.030 points? |

Hmmm, I was just making an updated version. He's been a lot better with power lately. I'm still unsure on if he needs Clutch 4; it definitely shows that he deserves it though |

yeah, mine is the brett gardner of 2008-2011 I guess. In 2013 his speed started decreasing big time, but power improved. BA is still around the same mark for his career, but this year's .288 is something. Anyway yeah for clutch 4 I would increase that split for a qualifier. And if you are sticking to the Gardner of today, and not the Gardner of 2008-2011, then speed should be more like 11. He was a 13 back then, and that was with 47 and 49 steal seasons. Now he's a 20-25 steal guy…so giving him a big ole' B wouldn't make sense anymore, right? |

Looking at the speed score on fangrpahs, last 3 seasons (2013-2015), his score is 7.1. According to fangraphs the average is 4.5 and anything over 7 is excellent. I would drop his speed down to 12. And the fan scouting area has him at 88/100 for speed. which is 13.2 for MLB PP speed. He'll have around 27-31 SB attempts this season which seems good enough for Aggressive Stealer. |

Just realized that he has the 4th highest pitch/PA count in the majors. And his BB% is higher than 10% so he'll need patient hitter |
