This will sound dumb but I kinda want to make him play for the Yankees. If I get enough disagreement then I’ll switch it haha Top Speed - I read that he once had it at 108.1…… 105 sounds good Control - 4.7 BB/9 is 55 here. I’ll try to get it as low as possible Stamina 180 Curveball 5-6? Change up 3 Not really sure here Poise 4 - Yes Fastball Life 4 - Yes Spin 4 – Yes Recovery 4 - Yes Dr. K – Yes Intimidator – Yes Consistency 4 - Yes Vs Lefty 4 – No Release 4 – Not a clue W/RISP 4 – 73.1 career strand rate. I would say no here, but if we claim that there was “inflation” (stats-wise) then I would say yes. But like I said, we’ll leave this at W/RISP 3. |

Test with "walk": first half of season ERA: 5.71 Record: 9-8 (with yanks) K/9: 10.68 WHIP: 1.66 so yeah, I'm not gonna use walk haha |

Release 2 (757 SB over career, CS 252). Since he also played 807 games thats quite an amount of steals over that span of games. There was no difference virtually between righties and lefties |

Hmmm does does seem like a very high number. That SB success % is 75% so that doesn't seem too different. He also pitched a lot of innings so the SB attempts are bound to increase. I'm for leaving it at release 3. Maybe we'll get other opinions on it |

I say he should have Release 2. Needs a red ability, and walk doesn't look like it will work

105speed 110ctrl 180 stam Curveball 6, Change 3 Poise 4, Fastball Life 4, Spin 4, Recovery 4, Dr. K, Intimidator, Walk, Consistency 4 Using that, after one season in season mode, he had a 3.66 era. The average for american east was 5.22, that's an ERA+ of 143. He only had 3 years that good or better in his career, I say adding walk does not ruin the player. I will try again with 55 control this time. |

Alright, update with him having just 55 control. AL East average ERA - 5.13, Nolan Ryan ERA - 3.83. This gives us an ERA+ of 134, still very strong, still much higher than his ERA+ of 112 in real life, only 4 years he had an ERA+ greater than 134. He can have the really low control and have walk, I say. Edit: 204 strikeouts, and 88 walks in 174 innings pitched. SO/9 and W/9 looking about right. I will try with a lower curveball rating, and also give him higher (200) stamina.. His control insreased from 55 to 62 by the end of the season. (Matt Halladay has 200 in the game, the highest. This is fine Stamina, should maybe be increased more, I think.) |
