My thoughts: Here’s a question, since he was born in 1973, that means his skills will degenerate after the first year (in season and my life mode). So should I make him younger to avoid that? I noticed some players don’t lose their skills until their 40 (frank Thomas). I want to say that Consistency 4 helps prevent that. I really cannot come to a conclusion though, but that’s what I always thought did the trick to help keep players in the league for all those years. If anyone knows what helps players keep their skills after age 35, then by all means please share! Because he’s played for so long I was thinking of just looking at the stats from 2011 to the present. And he will have 11 years of experience when I complete him Top Speed 96 Control 155-215 Stamina 150 2 Seam Fastball 3 – Throws this all the time Slider 3 Changeup 2 Release 4 – SB attempts: 5 for 8 in 2011, 1 for 1 in 2012, 7 for 9 in 2013, 3 for 5 in 2014 (16 for 23 = 69% SB success) Seems like he should have this ability, he also pitches a lot of innings which backs it up Recovery 4 – Yeah Lucky – Yes, two seasons with more than or equal to 15 wins, since 2011 Vs Lefty 4 – No Poise 4 - No Fastball Life 4 – No, .258 BA against it since 2011 Spin 4 – No, 2 Seam has a .277 BA against it, Slider has a .248 BA against it, and his Changeup has a .270 BA against it (all since 2011). *these were taken about a month ago, but the change in the BA’s since then should not affect him having this ability. Groundball Pitcher – No Dr. K – No W/RISP 4 – From what I got, his strand rate since 2011 is about 74. This is up in the air. Any thoughts on this? |

Top Speed 96 Control 155-215 Stamina 150 2 Seam Fastball 2 Slider 3 Changeup 2 Release 4 Recovery 4 Lucky Consistency 4 (hopefully this does the trick) |

I'd go for W/RISP 4. Has been lights-out this season. I'd also go for Lucky, he sucked last year but still won like 12-13 games. Get some hitting abilities, he got a hit last night to continue his hit streak to 3 games now! |

This year, it's at 66.5 which is baaaaad, and last year he was at 70.2. I thought that it might make him a sub 3.50 ERA guy which doesn't really represent him, so I made the decision to leave it at W/RISP 3. And I've been giving all NL pitchers at least 2 in Contact and at least a "F" in Power. |

Colon has a career high of 5 hits maybe he will get to 10 |

For his appearance, I think he should have the curly black hair that goes aroun the back of the head, sort of what like Milton had in 2007 success but not all the way around his head

I think that's the hair style he had in MLB PP 2007 (milton's). I was gonna see if there was anything shorter than that |
