My thoughts:

Top Speed 96
Control 120
Stamina 145

2 Seam Fastball 2 Or a sinking fastball at level 3?
Slider 3
Curveball 3
Changeup 2

Spin 4 – I say yes, slider has a .207 BA against it, curve is at .202, 2 out of his 3 off speed pitches tell me he could have Spin 4.
Release 2 – Looks good to me, SB attempts, 24 for 29 in 2014, 7 for 9 in 2013, 9 for 12 in 2012, 11 for 15 in 2011, 11 for 12 in 2010. (80% SB success)
Recovery 4 – Yes

Vs Lefty 4 – No, lefties hit him better
Fastball Life 4 – No, .252 BA against it
Groundball Pitcher - No
Dr. K - No


W/RISP 2 – He should have this 68.8 career strand rate
Poise 4 – He was decently good in 2014 and was 9th in Cy Young voting, and if we give him W/RISP 2 then this could balance help him

Or should we ignore these 2 abilities all together because he's been good for the last 2 seasons

I say SIFB 3 for the sinker, it has about one inch of drop compared to his fastball but four inches of run

yes to Spin 4
yes to Release 2

as for w/RISP 2/Poise 4, I'd say no, sounds needlessly complicated and they'd end up countering each other a lot of the time

For the W/RISP and stuff that's exactly what I was thinking haha. That combo doesn't make that much sense to me anyways

*I've been doing an Original SiFB with more edge to mimic the type that real life pitchers throw. It comes in just 2 mph slower than the FB

I would be willing to update him, unless you wrote here to claim him first. Not a problem to me.
The only issue with original pitches is you can't upgrade them in other modes (from what I remember), which is why I stay away from them

I started working on him. And I'd forgotten about the inability to upgrade the original pitches, that's a good point. Haven't given him one yet so maybe I'll rethunk that.
