My thoughts:

Top Speed 97
Control 105
Stamina 147

2 Seam Fastball 2
Slider 4

Changeup 1 – Rarely throws this, might not even need it. Only 3 times so far in 2015

Spin 4 – His slider has a .200 BA against it. Only off speed pitch he has (daily basis) so this works
Recovery 4 - Yes
Groundball Pitcher – Yes, 2013-2014 his GB% was above 54.8%. Career is at 55.1%
Release 2 – In 2014, base runners were 31 for 41 on SB attempts. in 2013 they were 11 for 18, and in 2012 they were 10 for 13 (72% SB success).

W/RISP 4 – No, career strand rate is at 71.5%
Vs Lefty 4 – No, lefties hit him better
Poise 4 – No
Fastball Life 4 – No, .270 BA against it
Dr. K – No, career 8.3 K/9. since 2013, it’s been 9.1. I assume Spin 4 can help with that

My thoughts:
Saw him pitch when I went to San Diego. He has a strange delivery and it's like he throws the ball effortlessly. My Padres fan friend was convinced he would throw the first Padres no-hitter (Khris Davis broke it up in the 4th). Ross was their only All-Star last year. Poor Padres.

My opinions:
Top Speed 97-98
Control 105-115
Stamina 147-157
Pitches
2 Seam Fastball 2
Slider 4
Changeup 1 – I would include this
Specials
Spin 4
Groundball P
Release 2
Unlucky (Lol Padres, could easily have had 17-20 wins last season)
W/RISP 4 –
Poise 4 – I vote yes for these two, ERA last year was great, may have been a fluke?

I can agree with Unlucky seeing that he had 14 losses with a 2.81 ERA. His W/RISP is just average so I'll leave that be. I guess Poise 4 could work, his FIP is decently low. I'm still not on board with that changeup. He gets rocked when he throws, probably why he won't throw it

I would agree with LGM. I would go in the high end with 115 control and 160 stamina. And yes unlucky is perfect ability for him. He was an allstar and is grooming into a big time pitcher. When I lived in San Diego and went to padre games, he was clearly a star out there and like LGM said through the ball effortlessly. I can't wait to see how this guy comes out and Andrew cashner!

Cashner should get Unlucky as well based on this season

On the scale, his 3.7 BB/9 is at 105
And I calculated how many innings he pitches per start (all of them) he only pitches a little under 6. So I'm being nice and added 10 points to his stamina; which brings it to 147
