My thoughts: Top Speed 95-96 Control 101 – Not a fan of giving pitchers G in control (And I don’t want it to be right on the line for G) Stamina 144 2 Seam Fastball 2 Curveball 5? Changeup 3 W/RISP 4 – I would say yes, career strand rate is 73.6% Recovery 4 - Yes Fastball Life 4 – No, .245 BA against it Poise 4 - He's not that dominant anymore Release 4 – Base Runners are 66 for 87 against him (75.8% SB success). Only one season with 13+ steals against him (19 in 2011), so No for me Groundball Pitcher – No Vs Lefty 4 – Lefties actually hit .002 points higher but it’s a .230 BA. I could avoid it Dr. K – Career K/9 is 8.8. I could try to avoid it. Shouldn’t be too bad if I do end up getting it, or should I go for it? Spin 4 – Ehhhh, I’m 50/50 on this. His curve has a .152 BA against it. His other breaking ball pitches have .245+ BA against it. Thoughts? Walk – This was in consideration but aaron and zero have said this ability will ruin a pitcher |

Damn, his epic 2012 season seems like ages ago.He won 20-21 games, right? I remember he and Dickey battling it out for the Cy Young award. I like what you have jag, but if you're not giving him walk I would really consider him having G control. Also, maybe the Lucky ability? To replicate his 2012 season and because he doesn't pitch well today yet manages to win 10-15 games a year. |

I could give him lucky, that seems to work. I just took his BB/9 when he became a full time starter, it sits at 3.7. On the scale that would be 100. So I guess 95 in control could work. I might give him Poise 4 now that I look at his FIP. Any opinions on Poise 4 for him? And I think Dr.K could work now too because his K/9 is now 8.9 (I used his stats from a month ago) |

Well it's so he can see that he has better control than a G and should maybe get Dr. K |

I've literally used baseball reference and fangraphs for every player I've made so far. Gio averages 3.9 BB/9 which is god awful; that would actually be 90 in control, so I'm being nice and bumping it up 5 points |

Here he is, enjoy! He does pitch from the windup. It's just that his glove is in the way of his face. And when he follows through, half his face was off the screen. It's also kinda funky to see a player's Top Speed be higher than his control.
