My thoughts: Top Speed 100 Control 155-175 Stamina 141 – only 1 CG in his career 2 Seam Fastball 2 Slurve 4 Changeup 4 Poise 4 – I say yes, 3.10 career ERA and he’s one of the elite pitchers in the MLB Spin 4 – Yes, curve and changeup have a sub .180 BA against them Recovery 4 - yes Dr. K – Yes, career 10.3 K/9 Consistency 4 - Yes W/RISP 4 – No, His career strand rate is 73% Vs Lefty 4 –No, lefties hit better Fastball Life 4 – No, career .259 BA against it Groundball Pitcher - No Release 2 – Ehh I’m not certain on this. base runners are 43 for 57 (75% SB success) in his career, which is aveage. But He did have 3 seasons with at least 13 SB against him though |

Do NOT give him a slurve. It's definitely more of a CB or even a DCB -- Dish and I had this discussion a while back when I was making a version of Strasburg. I gave him a level 2 2SFB and level 4 CB -- forgot the change but would also give that a 4. So to confirm: 2 Seam Fastball 2 Curveball 4 Changeup 4 is most realistic IMO. |

I will change it to a curveball. VALUABLE INFO!!! (Maybe). When he was first created he had a level 1 curveball, then I switched it to a slurve. Upon other opinions, I changed it back to a curve. Here's where it gets interesting. As I switched it back, I only had enough points for 2 upgrades. Once I finished, I realized he had a level 3 curve. So even though I replaced the curve, its level stays throughout the entire process. |
