Just starting this thread so I can start him tomorrow night. I'll most likely have Castillo finished by then...

I could drop contact down to a 6, but I think his speed is already at 7 :( I feel like his power should stay up at 145 because, last season, he hit 25 HR's and didn't play in 47 games. if he played all 162 he'd be at 33-36 HR's. And his career BA for hitting the first pitch sits around .322 which DOES qualify for Firstball Hitter (higher than .069 from career BA), good find on that LetsGoMets! I'll give it to him.
and one other note: I was upgrading him last night, I honestly forgot if I finished AA, if not then I'll go get Poor Small Ball too.

CON 5 (Vs Lefty 5) - As always I am looking at splits first. He's a career .228 hitter against righties. WOW. .309 vs lefties.
PWR - this sucks. career ISO of .187 says ~130, 4% career HR rate says 143. But last season was ridic, with ISO of .260 (190) and HR rate of 5.7% (~196). So its a huge range - last season's BABIP was way high compared to his usual...145 is fine with me.
SPD too late
ARM 8-9? Thrown out 25% of career base stealers, so 10 might seem too high.
FLD 8
E RES 11-12

firstball hitter is good
pull hitter is fine
vs lefty 4 or 5 as mentioned

wait wait wait wait wait wait wait, I GOT IT! I'll just buy "The Mighty" and Steel Spikes. Those should lower Contact to 5 and speed to 6. I think his arm strength is already at 10 :( I think his power is at 132 so I'm probably going to have to injure him to lower it to 145 if this works out

Even though I had to do some rearranging towards the end, he still came out fine
PS: he kinda looks like Joey Votto haha, those were the only eyes that were spaced far enough apart, while having similar shape to his

Great job again, jag. Once I get back from this boring family vacation I'm on now, I'll get back on my Wii and make some guys, hopefully we can reinforce this roster update :lol:
