I'd like to change my stats for him to 1/1/0/1/1/1/1 with every red ability. I hate Tim Beckham with a passion.

Disregard mine as it was a request made to what someone had asked for.

True story: in June 2008, the day after the draft, I was reading the newspaper hoping to see news of my beloved Rays drafting my all time favorite collegiate player: Buster Posey. When I read that Tim Beckham was taken 1 overall instead, I ripped the newspaper in half and threw it across the room.

He actually has a chance to be the opening day 2B or SS this year, though it is an outside chance.

Yeah, that's why I plan on making him. I'm only making guys now that might be starters or are starters already. So Beckham and Boxberger for Rays and I don't know who else next.

Here's my input:

Trajectory 2
Contact 6
Power 75-85
Speed 10
Arm Strength 8
Fielding 8
Error Resistance 6

Don't really know much here

Career K% in minors is approx. 21.2%, up to you if you want to get Timely Whiff
Good Infield Hitter

That's honestly all I see here

Ok jag, thanks. Has made 153 errors in 7 seasons in minors, is that Error Prone worthy?

original scouting report:
Quote:
At the plate he has the ability to be an above-average hitter with average power. He's a solid runner and his athleticism is a part of his everyday game. In the field, Beckham has smooth major league actions with an above-average arm. He has drawn comparisons to the Upton brothers, though he has more aptitude in the field and not quite the lightning in the bat. His makeup is a plus, as he displays an enjoyment of the game and energy on the field.

VsL4? (.296 since 2011)
Underwhelming defense at SS
Struggled to hit for power (.381 SLG)
Enough speed to pinch-run
Made a number of errors due to lackadaisical footwork
Has more pop in his bat than many middle infielders, doesn't tap into it consistently
Offensive production is always right around league average
Sometimes shows good strike zone judgment, but more often doesn't
Has a good throwing arm, but range is inadequate for shortstop
Fits better at second base
Range was considered modest; suggested that move to second/third is inevitable
Strikeout rate remains high (22%); managed to clear the fences just once (AAA)

Quote:
Beckham continues to maintain plus bat speed that generates raw power to all fields. His lack of consistency at the plate comes from his below-average pitch recognition and refusal at times to shorten his swing… His ticket appears to be developing into an offense-minded second baseman, though the Rays have greater need at shortstop.

Ok guys, he's finished. I tried as hard as I could not to make him too good, hope he's accurate for you. Also has Agg Run and Error Prone. Enjoy!
