Post subject:  Dee Gordon - SS/2B - Dodgers (Wii) (Planning)
I started on Montero, I'm already planning ahead. Next up is Dodgers young speedy shortstop Dee Gordon. He won the NL Stolen base title last year with an OUTSTANDING 64 STEALS!!!! He's also a slick fielder but has no power whatsoever. Here's what robhallett had:
Bunt master
Spray hitter
Gd IF HTR
Clutch hit 2
Timely whiff
Barehanded catch
Pivot man
Agg field
Agg run
Agg steal
Trj 1
Contact 5
Power 55
Run speed 14
Arm 10
Fielding 10
Eres 5

And ED44 in 2013: Dee Gordon , xx , 1 , 7 , 70 , 50 , 12 , , vL2 , , , GdIFHtr , GdBunt , , , , AggHtr , AggStl , , ,

So here's what I'm thinking:
TRJ: 1
CON: 6-7
POW: 55-70
SPD: 14-15
ARM: 8-10 (As long as I get over E)
FLD: 8-10
E-RES: 5-8 (He's made his fair share of errors)
Abilities:
Clutch Hit 2
AGG STL, AGG RUN, AGG FLD (He plays really aggresively, if only I could get AGG HTR too)
Barehand Catch
Gd Infield Hitter
Gd Bunt/Bunt Master
Pivot Man
Spray Hitter (Maybe)

Any other thoughts? I'll hopefully start him tommorow if all goes well with Montero

His fielding is horrible, he's at most an F in fielding. Career -26 UZR, which comes out to about -13 per season for him

Ok, this will make it easier to get A Speed, so 5 fld is good?

Yes, if you have leftover points at the end feel free to move it up a bit if you feel like it's too low

I wish there was a way to get Vs Lefty 2 - he hits righties better than lefties on his career.

I'd avoid the pivot man designation with his poor fielding - he crosses up the SS on some plays, or isn't where he should be, having just learned 2B last season.

Not sure if SS or 2B should be the primary position, since he is bad at both. Just get him around a replacement-level player value - if not for his speed, he wouldn't be in MLB.

Finished! I GOT RUN SPEED TO 15!!!! Only regret is that I didn't get him a second position, oh well. Also, I found out too late that he is on the Marlins, but you could put him on Miami in Arrange. He'll probably be their starting SS, so you can move my Hechavarria to 2B :lol: . He also has Agg HTR as well as the abilities you see. Enjoy!

this is awesome, LGM. I will edit him back in on the Marlins eventually but this is a great placeholder, you got his appearance on point.

Thanks for the compliments! I appreciate them! I thought the appearance I chose was pretty accurate as well.
