Well, I finally finished Ruben Tejada, and I'll post Hunter Strickland tommorow. Next on my list in young Astros firstbaseman Jon Singleton. He's a power hitter, just below average contact, and average fielding. Here's what ED 44 had in 2011: Jonathan Singleton 20 PHI > > 3 6 131 7 > > > > 3 So here's what I'm thinking: TRJ: 3 CON: 6 POW: 130-140 SPD: 5-7 FLD: 6-8 ARM: 4-6 E-RES: 7-9 Any other thoughts? Thanks in advance for the help! |

This is what I got: Trajectory 2 Contact 3 (.168 BA in 95 games is bad, like bad bad) Power 123-139 (I wouldn't give him a B in Power) Speed 5-6 Arm Strength 5-6 Fielding 8-7 (seems average to me) Error Resistance 7-8 (not 100% certain on that) Timely Whiff (K% in 2014 was 37%, a definite must) Pull Hitter (http://www.fangraphs.com/spraycharts.as ... battedball) Hit .247 against lefties, .142 against righties. I wouldn't give him VS Lefty 4 I don't see too many abilities here, but those are just my thoughts |

robhallett wrote: I would also consider Pr Small ball Yeah, I'll add that in. It's easy to get. I was going to try to get Timely Whiff through the Patty Arc, where you have to miss the fish when trying to catch them at the Mountain

You could easily get timely whiff through the siitch events (the 1st one) just guess the incorrect siitch and there's a chance you'll get it. You may need to save load though |

yeah its not on any of the wiki pages..I've only gotten Fat Pitch as a pitcher, never got Timely Whiff/Free Swinger that way, but will try it with JP Arencibia this morning. It's always been way easier for me to strikeout with power swing on once a game or so (9 or 10 times over success). Or I throw a ton of power swing Ks in over the last 3 games, that works too. Much more reliable than Patty dates. Edit: yeah I tried this on the first Sittch event at the lake 7 times and never got Timely Whiff. I tried guess wrong sittches on both sides, no good. Maybe its the second or third one Rob? |

No timely whiff is available on the first siitch event, it just takes a while to S/L. |
