Next on my list for the update are some Padres players not in the game. After Quackenbush I am going to do Derek Norris and Alexi Amarista, maybe some people can help me with other Padres like Robbie Erlin and Casey Kelly. Quackenbush is a young righty reliever who was rushed into the Majors and eventually the closers role by the Padres last season, however, I doubt he'll be the closer next season. He will have low stamina either way. Here's what I'm thinking: TOP SPD: 94 (That's the highest I've seen him hit) CTRL: 100-115 (Control needs some work) STAM: 40-55 (As I said earlier, not a reliever who works over an inning) Pitches: CURVE: 2-3 CHG: 1-2 (I have no idea on this guy's pitches, only scouting report I could find was from Arizona Fall League in 2012) Special Abilities: ??? Any help is necessary and greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

On top of the pitches you have; v-slider (1-2), 2sfb 1. Release 4 gd pick off. Vs LH4 you could get but his minor stats reveal a much closer split than his major league ones. I think CB should be a 2-3 the others (v-slider, change and 2sFB should be a 1). |

My stats: Top Speed: 94 Ctrl: 130-140. 3.0 BB/9 rate is pretty consistent Stam: he's averaged less than an inning, so the minimum is fine - no need to get it higher than 40 CB 2-3 is fine CHG or SPLT 1-2 The other pitch types he threw twice or less in the whole season (??) so despite a scouting report talking about his great slider, I'm just not sure. Unless the CHG/SPLT is actually a V-SLD, that might make sense. it moves straight down, whatever it is. RISP/4 - he's consistently stranded runners at a high rate. 79% last season. Poise 4 could also work. Dude avoids hits. Dr K - yeah he's a candidate for it. 9.3 SO/9 in his one season so far, and three minor league stops had rates over 10/9 IP (and one of them he averaged 15 Ks per 9 IP, wow) Vs Lefty 4 is actually okay with his splits last season, but as was mentioned, that's a tiny sample size, use with caution Flyball Pitcher would be a good ability, only 37% GB rate |

Ok, I heard that he had a splitter, but wasn't sure. I'll start him now, thanks for the help, robhallett and AOW. |

Finished. Came out the way I wanted him too. Appearance wise, birthday wise and ability wise. Any help with other Padres players (Norris, Amarista, Erlin, Kelly) is greatly appreciated. Enjoy!
