Next on my list is young Yankees pitcher Dellin Betances. He had an awesome breakout season last year, and now is the next Yankees closer following Robertson's departure. Here is a scouting report on him: In 2013, Betances was tracked by the PITCHf/x system as having thrown a four-seam fastball averaging 96 mph, a knuckle curveball averaging 82 mph, and a changeup averaging 89 mph. robhallett also made a version of him: top speed 98 Control 110 Stamina 110 KNCB 3 CHG 2 Gd low pitch Dr K Walk Consistency 2 I'm basically going to follow that, but lower the Stamina for sure. He's the closer now, so he only will pitch ine inning. He's always had an issue with control, so maybe control will be lowered. I'll try for 96-98 on the top speed. Any help with this guy is appreciated, thanks in advance! |

I've watched him over the season and he hit 100 MPH a few times. 100 should be his top speed. And he USED to have control issues back in 2011 and 2013. His BB/9 in 2014 is 2.4 and according to the scale: 2.4-2.6 - 160 in control. I think 140-160 in control should be fine. Stamina should be in the 50-80 range. I think you should consider spin 4 because his curve is filthy- might want to make KNCB 4-5. His strand rate last season was 82% so W/RISP 4 should be there and as well as Poise 4 because he had a 1.40 ERA in 70 games, 90 innnings. I think Gd low pitch and Dr K work well. I think he should NOT have Walk or Consistency 2.Those are just my thoughts. To summarize: Dellin Betances 100 MPH Top Speed Control 140-160 Stamina 50-80 KNCB 4-5 Changeup 2-3 W/RISP 4 Poise 4 Spin 4 (possibly? seems like a good fit to me) Dr.K Gd low pitch. Recovery 4 Consistency 4 (up to you) |

Ugh, man, I'm sorry, but I just can't do him. I can't get top speed high enough or anything else to come close. I've tried through success like 3 times but nothing close. I'm sorry again. Maybe you can take him up, you've been on a tear with success. Sorry, I guess I'm not ready for very good players yet... |

I appreciate that you tried your best, LetsGoMets! I really do! My strategy is to buy more gambling tickets than Bison can imagine haha and I'll gamble at 10% at minimum. Sittch's third challenge helps a lot because he'll give you a glove when you drop it in the lake. And I always save/load for the best glove. For pitchers, Pitching Heart is the best in my opinion. And for hitters, Mizzoto Glove Pro is the best in my opinion again. Don't want to sound pretentious here, but would you mind if I tried making him? |

I'd be willing to take them both on! Might not be able to get them both done this weekend because I'm working the next 3 days, but I can do my best. I'll start new threads for both of them when I get the chance, and don't worry I'm sure you'll get better at making players! |
