I was thinking replacing my old version of him. This is what I got:
Top speed MAX= 96 Average=93
Uhhhh his BB/9, in 2014, is 1.4 sooooo I don't think there's a possibility of me getting 200 in Control
I was thinking more along the lines of 145-160 in Control
160-180 in Stamina

Pitches:
Curve ball 5-6
Slider 3-5
Changeup 3-4

Abilities:
Spin 4
W/RISP 4
Poise 4
VS Lefty 4
Dr.K.
Groundball P

Other notes:
Not certain of Fastball Life 4
I'll wait for feedback before I start him

My thoughts:

Top speed 96/97
Control/Stamina could both easily be A if you can get that, B if you cannot

Slider 2/3, Curveball 5/6, Changeup 1 if you think he needs to have that but I personally don't think he uses it enough and it is a very ineffective pitch. Fastball sinks a lot, so 2SFB would be good as well (level 2 is my recommendation).

Recovery 4, Dr. K are good. Spin 4 also. He doesn't need w/RISP or Poise, VS LH Batter 4 is fine, not sure if he needs Groundball P either, or Fastball Life.

Would a DCB be more suitable for him than a regular CB? Has a helluva lot of downwards break, just from the eye test.

haha that control will be a problem. I wonder who has the highest control in the game? Whoever has that number, THAT's the number you should aim for. But yeah if you get gloves and spikes to boost it, control can go way up there. It just takes a lot of effort, and with what you'll have to do on top speed, stamina, blues and pitches...well its gonna be tough. this is a guy you pray that you get a genius or good sense on! lol

I'd consider adding Durability 4 to him as well. Top speed 96 is fine, he hit 97 in 2009 and 98 in 2008, but hasn't seen them since. Stamina 160-170 is good. Dr K I had set to like a 10K/9 entry bar, and he's under that (although he was over that this season), so it's up to you. His GB rate was good last year (over 50%), but career he's around 45%, so probably not necessary - up to you.

I think I did a DCB in my version to reflect his crazy curveball...or I gave it like a level 5 drop.

Use a lot of chocolates, gamble for the big increases, and best of luck on this monumental undertaking. :)

Thank you for the feedback guys,
I checked his stats on fangraphs, the fastest MPH he hit was 95.7 so I rounded it up to 96 - I want to make sure I can get A in Stamina and C in Control, so I might have to get skills to minimum requirements first.
Probably won't get A in control, and he should have W/RISP 4 because his strand rate was 81.4% in 2014. And the fact that he's had a sub 2.00 ERA is the past two seasons, I think another blue ability like Poise 4 should help with that. I guess I could throw out groundball pitcher.
I can lower the levels, for his pitches, and change the Curve to a Drop Curve. I also checked fangraphs for his pitches, and I don't remember seeing a 2SFB, AgentP; so I'll stick with the 3 pitches.
And Alloutwar, going to sound dumb here, what do the chocolates serve a purpose to?

And I always gamble, for increases, at a 10%-20% chance. So I save/load a lot haha

Carryover chocolates give you more turns every week. More opportunities to practice, gamble, make money, get vitality, etc

Oh I see, I just read the thread with the explanation and it seems very confusing.

I also need to know what type of pitching style he has. Can't really tell if he's overhand or 3-quarters. But I have heard him say that he's modeled his style like Roger Clemens, which is 3-quarters #31 in MLBPP 2008.

I know he has that little hitch in his delivery; not sure which one replicates that well in-game.

Honestly, I'm just going with the Roger Clemens one haha. I checked every motion and nothing comes close to that "hitch".

He has got the straightest fastball out of all lefties in the majors thus I would leave it neutral or get fastball life 2

Thanks for the info Rob. I was planning to leave that ability at level 3. Hopefully I won't acquire it after the game against Sittch.

Even though I had to play two full games against Sittch, because I didn't get enough mentality points, he was a lot of fun to make.
I ended up throwing a perfect game into the 5th inning with 9 K's, and ended with a 3 hit shutout with 15 k's. So that performance helped me achieve B in control.
