Next on my list is young Mets reliever Vic Black. He is a great 7th inning/set up man out of the Mets bullpen, coming in with a flaming fastball. With all that speed, he is a bit wild. Here's what I'm thinking now: TOP SPD: 100, G/E, CB: 2. He only has, like, a whole 2-pitch repertoire. I really can't think of any Blue Abilities to get him, but any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'd go with: Top Spd: 98 (highest he's ever hit is 98.6, averages 95.6 mph on the 4-seam FB). 99 miight be okay, but 100mph would be out. Ctrl: 85 (4.4 BB/9, so you basically want to leave this as low as you start with) Stam: 30-40 (he averages less than an inning, so no need to spend points here either. avoid the steakhouse!) CB: 1-2 SIFB (or 2SFB): 1-3 (I'd go with SIFB, the x-movement is bigger than y-movement) SLD or CUT 1 is okay, they are rare but he has them Negative abilities to consider: Walk (BB/9 rate over 4) AVOID VS LEFTY 4. You can get 9 lefty batters out, but after that, bean or walk all lefty hitters. It's easy if you have a curveball that leans into their shin!

Thanks for the help as usual, AOW. Did you see my Josh Thole? I'm most likely going to give all of his pitches 1's, as he just learned most of them since coming over to NY. I'm going to try to get top speed as high as I can, any tips on that? I'm starting him tonight.

Top speed is pretty easy. Just practice strength and accuracy training, using those carryover chocolates as normal. You should be able to increase a mph a month or more. To boost it, get your points a few points over what is needed, then boost once and gamble for a second. Just save when it works. At the end you can buy a glove, glove waxes and sneakers that all increase your top speed one or two per. Makes it real easy to add 5 mph at the end by selling your other stuff and buying glove/wax/sneakers.

He's finished. Only inaccurate ability is the unfortunate VS LH 4. Sorry. I tried my best. Couldn't avoid it. Other than that, he turned out spot on. I got top speed up to 98, 100 was a bit unrealistic in the end. I tried for 99 on a gamble, but failed. He started with 97 Control and a slider, so the descision between slider and cutter for his last pitch was answered just like that.
Here are his attributes:
TOP SPD: 98
CTRL: G 92
STAM: E 40
Blue/Red Abilities:
VS LH 4 (Sorry, again)
Fat Pitch
Poise 4
W/RISP 2
