Post subject:  SP James McDonald (Wii) (Dodgers/Pirates/Cubs AAA)
Just lining up the next guy. McDonald debuted in 2008, and has racked up 512 innings, enough for 21st on my list and the biggest innings total for a 2008 debut pitcher remaining. He's a fringey guy so I will make him as such.

Specials:
Recovery 4 sure
Vs Lefty 4 isnt a biggy, he actually limits lefties better than righties which is nuts
Walk is likely with that high BB/9
He'll avoid Fat Pitch, but another red or two might be possible.

Ideas/thoughts?

McDonald's control is horrible and getting worse. His top speed was 93.8 mph two years ago, but he's hit 97.5 in the past (2009).

I would go with:

Top Speed - 96 mph
Control - high F/low E
Stamina - mid B

Curveball 3/4
Changeup 3/4
2-Seam Fastball 1
Slider 1

VS LH Batter 4 is actually ok for him given that he's got career splits favoring him against LHB
Recovery 4 (always)
Walk if you can get it
I don't see any reason to go for w/RISP 4 or Poise 2, the splits are too small

is he or is he not "great" olivo on the dodgers' AAA? 1984 righty that made his debut in 2008.

did you have any discrepancies like that for the "greats", aow?

That's the only 1984 dob on the dodgers aaa pitchers that I see?

He actually never made the bugs tho, so if I edited him into a righty it could work...
