I MAY be able to start on him tomorrow. It's unlikely, about a 10% chance, but it's likely I'll start and finish him on Tuesday (Yay for short days!) Anyway, AgentP, since you're a Rangers fan, and Alloutwar, what are your suggested ratings? |

I would use rob hallets as a starting point: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4200 Vs lefties 4 is okay but avoid all other blues if possible. We can discuss reds - he needs a few to show his not-greatness. Ill look them up with his away/home splits soon... Edit: okay here goes Matt Harrison, bats/throws L/L, birthday 9/16, age 22 at start of 2008 season uniform #54 Top speed: 94-95. His average has fluctuated from 90-93, but the top he's hit is around 94. Stamina: taking out relief appearances, he averages 6.0 innings pitched per start...so basically very low B control: 3.1 career BB/9, so its OK. 120-140 range. Strikeout numbers are always low, so no big pitches IMO... Pitch types are tough: 1) his 2-seam fastball has a TON of horizontal movement. It could be a 2SFB, or SIFB, or H-SNK...but this is the big 2-3 pitch. I would go with H-SNK. 2) CB or DCB 2 3) CHG 1 4) CUT 1 5) SLD 1 (he abandoned this in 2011, so least important) specials: durability 2 would be great here - he was seen as injury prone way back in the day, let alone missing this season Groundball P makes sense, he lives above 45% Vs Lefty 4 is fine, of course he's worse with men on and in tight situations, so never get anything like w/RISP 4 or Battler. I'd say that's it for Blues Reds, I'm not sure....there's some data that points to Walk, but nothing for Fat Pitch or anything else. He was really great for a season or two there, but otherwise has been just OK - and it's not just the home park. |
