yeah wow one I totally missed. The best thing the 2008 Astros would have to look forward to until Altuve, lol from wikipedia: Quote: Norris throws five pitches, although against right-handers he uses only his four-seam fastball (91–94 mph) and slider (83–87). Against lefties, he adds a changeup (85–87). Especially against righties, the slider is his favorite two-strike pitch. It also carries a whiff rate of 38%. Norris also throws a sinker and a curveball.[13] Norris had a win-loss record of 38-49 at the end of the 2013 season. He allowed 1.1 home runs for each nine innings and a 1.411 WHIP ratio of baserunners. He also has a high strikeouts per nine innings ratio. He has finished in the top 10 among National League pitchers in 2011 and 2012.[14] DOB 3/2/85, so as of 2008 Norris is 22 or 23...23 if season mode begins after March 2nd. SP, bats/throws right top speed 94-95 (im not seeing him hit 96 anywhere, but 95 seems like a good top velocity) control low C? 3.6-3.7 walks per 9 innings, so average ish stamina high C, very low B - dude does not average 6 innings SLD 3? CB 1 CHG 1-2 a blue or two to help him along is fine, just avoid getting a ton if you can |

So, Dr. K maybe because of the high K/9 rating? |

maaaybe, but if you get that then get like, NO other blues. release 2 is a good one to get for him, easy to run on. Fat pitch is an alternate. Here's a great scouting report: http://mlbscoutingreports.com/tag/bud-norris/ Poise 4 would be OK with me hot head would be OK too (just get hit by a shruken) good pace is fine too |

yeaaah that's the tough part. if it gets down to it, hit lefty batters to put them on...thats what I did with Latos to get him thru after scouting was maxed. Took a lot of work, but aim a curve or slider at their feet and it hits them. Norris' weak spot is lefties, they hit him better and get on base at a much higher rate. vs lefty 2 would be ideal, but i dont think the game lets you get it, so you're stuck trying to stay at 3. release 2 isn't important, from what I can see - Norris has allowed like 5 stolen bases lifetime! wow. So red should be fat pitch, I think. |

Didn't want VS Lefty 4, but could not stay away from it. Stamina was a little too high also but I hope he's ok. ![]() ![]() |
