Post subject:  RP Ryan Webb (Wii) - '08 Athletics, later Marlins
Ryan Webb was on the Athletics before being traded around. He's pitched in 308 games since 2008, for several different teams, meaning he was of serious use over the years, so he's the first pitcher of the 7 left I'll be working on.

So EricDavis had this in 2011

top speed 97, MAYBE 98

recovery 4, maybe

fastball life 4 maybe
RISP/4 maybe (this just seems like a ton of blue abilities, and the guy was never a closer, so no way I give him ALL of these)
not sure how to get release 2 in success mode, but I will give it a try darnit!

any feedback welcome during the creation process

I would definitely go for Recovery 4, it's incredibly useful for all pitchers

After that I'd try for Safe Pitch and Groundball P since they were listed in both '11 and '12

ugh. got vs. Lefty 4, need some way to get rid of it. sucks, the game just gives it to you if you get like 2 lefties out. hate that so much.
followed the success guide's instructions for Release 2 - twice - and didn't get it from Patty. Urgh.

whats worse is, i got all the main pitches, then completed Sittch's arc. I quickly researched Webb and found that he used a curveball in college and the minors, and his first 2 years...so I got a curve and converted it to normal.

Now im at like 93 mph, have the stamina and most of the control I need...and havent even played a game of AAA.

making pitchers is sooooo easy. avoiding blue abilities is incredibly difficult

You probably have to s/l for Release 2 more than twice... And yeah, vs. lefty 4 sucks.

Got release 2!!! Took until the 3rd round of patty dates, but I got it!

Everything else is done. Safe pitch doesn't really exist? I mean you can only buy it once you have fat pitch, right?

I have recovery 4, all the pitches plus the curve 1, stamina and control in my specs, and passed eval. Just beat the monmon monkeys. Just wasting time now!

Still might get ground ball pitcher I guess
