Nice work! Van Slyke would have been a popular player today - blue collar, tough and good. My 80's Van Slyke looks pretty darn similar:

2/8/137/12/14/12/11
GG, Cannon, Agg Fld, Gd IF HTR, Steal 4, Pr SmBll

Would have been good to see how he'd fair in todays game, some others I would have liked would have been Valenzuela of the Dodgers, Puckett of the Twins, Devon White of the blue jays or Tom Henke for the Jays.

I had a Kirby Puckett poster on my wall as a kid. I think it said "Wrecking Ball." That's what he looked like, too. Picture a fire hydrant with a high leg kick punching line drives all over the park. Dude would have been awesome in any era.
