No, I think there's a real life pitcher w/ a similar name. Trust me, I'm a Backyard Expert. |

That game was sweet. Pablo Sanchez, the Kahn brothers, Pete Wheeler, Dante Robinson, Mikey Thomas, Tony Delvecchio . . . you could make a pretty sweet Arrange team using the studs from BYBB. |

I never got why they call Jocinda Smith "MVP", yet she seriously sucks ostrich eggs. |

redsfan wrote: I never got why they call Jocinda Smith "MVP", yet she seriously sucks ostrich eggs. Heh... Seriously. Pablo Sanchez will forever be the greatest. Keisha Phillips, the Khan brothers, Pete Wheeler, and the kid in the wheelchair (obviously forgot his name) were the best, IMO. |

Jocinda's only drawback was her speed. She makes a great first baseman. I think my dream team on there was: Pablo Sanchez RF Pete Wheeler CF Kiesha Phillips LF Achmed Khan C Jocinda Smith 1B Stephanie Morgan SS Amir Khan 2B Tony Delvecchio 3B Kenny Kawaguchi (aka wheelchair guy) ![]() |

How good was the backyard baseball series anyway? Only "backyard" game I ever had is Backyard Basketball 2004, because it came free in a box of cereal, it was all right, but you could easily create a dominant team. 1 fast guy with great defense to steal the ball, 1 guy who can hit 95% of all shots from anywhere on the court, and the third guy can be whoever you want. Announcers were pretty annoying though. I do remember Kenny Kawaguchi in it for sure though. |

I have Backyard Basketball 2004, too! But, my favorite Backyard game is Backyard Football 2002, my first game, got it for Christmas for PC when I was five. I still play it. ![]() |

Unbelievable. I have the same game. So much fun to play. Ever notice that the cover athletes from that game when they were real people (list here) are people you should not want your children to be like? Back to the topic, he looks like a great player. Nice job. |

My first backyard games were the original Backyard Baseball and Soccer. I got a ton of them for all the sports for a few years, but I switched to MVP Baseball after Backyard Baseball 2005. I still play the baseball ones sometimes. And thank you, apple! ![]() |

Backyard Soccer is SO effing underrated. I loved the Astonishingly Shiny Cup Of All Cups Mode. The only drawback was that there were no pros. I also had football '99 and 2002, baseball '01 and '03, and original Basketball. The old games pwn the new games. |
