Happy Easter!

This is my 3rd success mode player and first pitcher. I wanted to create a lefty reliever because I feel they're much harder to find in this game and extremely valuable as a result. Also, since I have a PS2, hardly anyone creates characters for my system, so I decided to take up the challenge myself!

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the outcome, except for the fact this player doesn't have "Dr. K". The Knuckleball has ended up being an excellent strike-out pitch though.

Enjoy!

Nice job. Is he based off anyone real?

Thanks.

Nope, not based off of anyone at all. I wanted to create a submarine pitcher and my first thought was to create a Japanese player (since submarine pitchers are much more common over there) with a lot of movement and a top speed around 90 mph (kinda similar to Chad Bradford). As the last couple of weeks unfolded; however, I ended up pretty happy with the movement on the pitches I already had and decided to focus on top speed instead.

Actually, I got Dr. Goodjob on this character and asked him to "overcome some troublesome areas". It worked, but I only ended up with something like "good sense" and "STR finish" (it was in the last 3 weeks of AAA, so maybe there weren't enough deficiencies for a big advancement?).

Anyway, I didn't save it and S/L'ed to boost my stats through practice on wk 4 instead. Oh well!

Like Chris Sabo's long, lost Japanese brother.
