No. However in the movie Major League, Charlie Sheen plays a wild pitcher on the indians team (Rick Vaughn). His nickname is Wild Thing. Mitch Williams also acquired that nickname for his poor control, and delivery where he would throw everything into his pitches often falling off the mound. He is also often remembered as the pitcher who gave up the winning home run to Joe Cater and the Blue Jays in the '93 world series |
