Sorry, this only works for pitchers. I wrote something in the abilities thread, talking about not knowing how to do it for hitters yet. I haven't seen it on any success player hitters.

Edit: 10/4 - Intimidator can now be found for hitters by dating Patty.

Post subject:  #06 Phillip Nixan - Nix - Original (#5) - CF, LF, RF

Indianapolis Stallions Press Release
S.F. Goldman with his large pocket book continues to obtain the best of the best with a little help from current team member, Adam Tsao. The Indianapolis Stallions have recruited none other than the “Star” centerfielder, Phillip Nixan. Adam and Phillip went to high school together for the Eastside High School Rams. Phillip was quite the talent in high school as well as in AAA ball. During his last year of play, Phillip hit 3 inside the park homeruns, so don’t let his lower than perfect speed ratings fool you. Phillip as stated earlier is well sought after for autographs since he is a Star and he doesn’t hesitate to give them out. But don’t let his Star status make you think he is a ladies man. Phillip has settled down with Emily. He always carries the special key holder that she gave him as he proposed. Phillip does have quite the pompous attitude though, bragging about how good he is during batting and fielding practice and after the game interviews. Phillip does strive to be a Star off of the field as well. He has been seen doing one of his favorite pastimes, karaoke, at the local bars. If things don’t work out with Emily, he may be a perfect husband for a movie star. Now, given the fact that Adam was a middle of the road second baseman, was he hired just to get Phillip to come to the Stallions? Again, was this a coincidence or another one of Goldman’s ruthless schemes?

Yay new player, yes this one seems more rounded than the one that has it's own topic, but good job on both.

Post subject:  #23 Vijai Evans - Evans - L - Standard (P.Byrd) - Edgier SIF

Indianapolis Stallions Press Release
S.F. Goldman continues to amaze as he has went and bought from the Detroit Tigers last years Cy Young award winner with a 23-3 record, Vijai Evans. Vijai, a gyroballer, is known for starting off slow, but once heated up; he has the wickedest sinking fastball in the league. A pitch so devastating that it has been nicknamed “Slip Knot” for all the batters that it has “hung” out to dry. Vijai is known for being one of the few converted fielders to pitchers in the league, as he was once a good left fielder with a knack for throwing the junk. Vijai is part owner of the highest rated convenient stores in the country, “Ducks”, known for its specialty hot dogs. He is definitely quite the world traveler since many of the stores exist in India and China. His traveling created havoc on Detroit last year, since he only came to games that he was pitching. This was probably one of the reasons Detroit was willing to let him go. He is traveling so much for “Ducks” that his wife Patty went to the press conference and accepted the introduction to the Indy Stallions. During his last press conference, Vijai was so rushed to leave the stadium, he only gave one comment, being his ending catch phrase, “Gotta Run!.” Nevertheless, when Vijai is in the game, he pumps up the team, and they usually win.

My key for making good pitchers is to get their stamina up first by of course doing weight training. The key to getting coach/scout points is the games in my opinion. I don't accept a game that is less than 6 coach/13 scout. My stamina on this pitcher was probably a C before the first playable game. The key for me in doing well in the games is getting the goggles. Always pitch the opposite pitch that they are thinking. If breaking ball I throw high and inside/outside if fastball, I throw right under the bat on the inside depending on the breaking ball pitches break.

I also get my energy up as well, by doing Frank and Sittch arc, as well as going to the movie theatre and getting at least a good output. I may save and load to get Jaw, but generally he shows up anyway by June. I always save and load to get the dog for 2 weeks, until I get the surprise bag. Then I save/load for gambler's ring, SoP, SoD, LoB from the surprise bag. I generally don't have too much trouble getting the ring. I have a lot of trouble getting SoP. If I get SoP, I save/load until I get an ability I can't buy. Jaw is always at the street, so the next command, I just save/load until I get another surprise bag and repeat.

After, the gambler's ring, I only gamble on pitches/abilities, sometimes control if very high. The key to gambling is look at what you have. You can get your control up leaving just enough to gamble for a pitch. Towards the end, you will only be able to do breaking ball practice then gamble for a pitch up.

The player I am working on right now Jaw didn't show up until January. For some reason I am having terrible luck getting a gambler's ring from the surprise bag. I generally get one after ten tries, but I am on like 100 tries. Since I am getting SoP, SoD, and LoB. I have used those, since I need it.

THANK YOU!!!!!! I've already made 4 pitchers, but none are that good. I have made 3,4,5, carry the one...0 fielders. Once I get some more, I'll start my own team! I'm gonna make your team go bankrupt!!!

I noticed that your brother-in-law signed up and made a (empty at this point) page for his team on the wiki. It will be interesting see the Louisiana thunder haha. By the way, what exactly were the restrictions and limits you guys made.
Your lucky with the gamblers's rings, it usually takes me around 70-100 to get them.
