A mostly defensive-minded outfielder, Forse could be a fringe starter for some teams, but is likely best served as a bench player. Forse's defense, and in particular his throwing arm, were his calling card throughout the minors. His approach at the plate was good enough to net him a .605 batting average last year, albeit with very little power, with only one extra-base hit, a double, in 43 plate appearances.
