Okay, here we go. rob had: robhallett wrote: Pitchers (top speed, control, stamina, pitches, abilities) Tyler Thornburg RP 97 123 122 CHG 2 DCB 5 Release 4, Vs LH Hitter 4, W/RISP 4 Wikipedia (Yes, I Know) wrote: Thornburg's fastball is generally 91–94 mph, but can reach 96 mph. He throws two off-speed pitches, including a strong power curveball in the upper-70s, and a sinking change-up in the low-80s. Brooks Baseball wrote: Tyler Thornburg has thrown 2,722 pitches that have been tracked by the PITCHf/x system between 2011 and 2015, including pitches thrown in the MLB Regular Season, Spring Training and Fall/Winter Ball. In 2015, he has relied primarily on his Fourseam Fastball (93mph) and Change (84mph), also mixing in a Curve (76mph). So here's what I got:Basic description of 2015 pitches compared to other RHP: His fourseam fastball is straight as an arrow, has good "rising" action and has essentially average velo. His change has a lot of backspin and results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' changeups. His curve generates fewer whiffs/swing compared to other pitchers' curves, results in more flyballs compared to other pitchers' curves, has a sharp downward bite, has primarily 12-6 movement and has slightly below average velo. 96-97 Top Speed 110-125 CTRL 110-130 STAM CHG 2-3 DCB 2-3 Release 4 Vs LH Hitter 4 (Actually warranted) W/RISP 2 Recovery 4 Anything else I should go for? |

Is Flyball Pitcher an option? HE would look good with it. His other stats look good. |
