So recently I've been making players without letting you give your input for abilities. So I'll wait for some feedback before I make this guy, and I'll make write ups like these for the other guys I'll make, including rob's/other's versions and some scouting reports. This also helps me because now I have all that I need in one thread, rather than have to go on other websites for pitch info and stats. So here we go. rob had: robhallett wrote: Pitchers (top speed, control, stamina, pitches, abilities) SP Taylor Jungmann 95 121 140 Slurve 3 CHG 2 SIFB 3 W/RISP 4, GB pitcher, release 2 Wikipedia (Yes, I know) wrote: Jungmann brandishes a four pitch repertoire. At 6-foot-6, his four-seam fastball is thrown around 92-94 MPH and on a downward plane, inducing many ground balls. He also features a sinker in the upper-80s, also to induce ground balls, as well as to mask the velocity of his four-seamer. His curveball is likely his best pitch, frequently causing many swings-and-misses. Sitting in the upper-70s, the curveball has a hard, late break as it reaches the batter, and his mechanics are consistent across all of his pitches, making any off-speed offerings more deceptive. His curveball has been referred to by some as a slurve, due to its late break and decent velocity. He also features a changeup in the lower-80s with good sinking movement, though he doesn't throw it very often. Despite relying heavily on inducing ground balls, his pitches have enough velocity, movement, and deceptiveness to make him an effective strikeout pitcher. Through his first 13 starts with the Milwaukee Brewers, Jungmann has struck out 8.1 batters per nine innings. Brooks Baseball wrote: Taylor Jungmann has thrown 2,185 pitches that have been tracked by the PITCHf/x system between 2013 and 2015, including pitches thrown in the MLB Regular Season and Fall/Winter Ball. In 2015, he has relied primarily on his Fourseam Fastball (93mph) and Curve (76mph), also mixing in a Sinker (92mph) and Change (85mph). So here's what I'm thinking:Basic description of 2015 pitches compared to other RHP: His fourseam fastball is a real worm killer that generates an extreme number of groundballs compared to other pitchers' fourseamers, has essentially average velo and has slightly less natural movement than typical. His curve generates an extremely high number of swings & misses compared to other pitchers' curves, has a sharp downward bite, has slight glove-side movement and has slightly below average velo. His sinker generates a very high amount of groundballs compared to other pitchers' sinkers and has less armside run than typical. His change has a lot of backspin and results in somewhat more flyballs compared to other pitchers' changeups. 94-95 Top Speed 110-120 CTRL (Threw 8 Wild Pitches from June call up - October) 135-150 STAM (Threw a CG this year) Slurve 3 CHG 1-2 SIFB 2-3 (In place of the Sinker) Groundball Pitcher ("Generates lots of Ground Balls" is commonly stated in his scouting reports) W/RISP 4 (.225 BAA with RISP, .196 BAA with 2 outs and RISP) Anything else I should go for? |

Wait maybe literally no one throws a "sinker" as it is defined by the game and we should use a 2SFB or SIFB instead as we've been doing for the last eternity and a half |

Level three 2seamer is a BUTTLOAD of breaking ball points. I'd go with the SIFB instead. |

According to these stats, he could be the next Zack Grienke and a whole lot better than the one and only best pitcher Jon Niese, |
