Actually he did get in a lot of fights with his Sox manager. One time he got benched for a whole World Series and the Red Sox won back in his pitching days. A change of scenery was in order.

Yes, but with him on the team, the Sox won, like, three straight World Series before he was traded, and they didn't win another series for 86 years after he left. :cry:

He was a big part of the franchise.

Big part of the franchise is a little bit of an understatement. I was saying that he may have actually wanted to go and the owner had no idea he would be one of the greatest, if not the greatest of all time.

Everybody had had a glimpse of greatness when he was in Boston. They knew he'd be a great player, just not how great he'd be.

Power-wise, no. No one hit tried or wanted to hit for power back in the day. Babe Ruth was the one who started it. Contact-wise, probably not.

I know and I was doing good, I had Intimadator, power hitter, A Power, C contact, 3 TRJ, E Run, D Arm, and two Fs for fielding, and it wasn't even the first game against the Sharks yet :cry:

I will try again in the morning, but it might have to wait until the afternoon
