I had Pedro Martinez as a ace of my staff he went from 125-130 stamina to 85 in the off season while Randy Johnson stayed the same.

I think it may have to do with their age when the game started.

randy Johnson is 40 something in his 2nd year with my team loses nothing while Pedro is younger lost 2 abilities seems a mystery to me.

Pedro is beginning his decline, Randy has declined enough to have it slow.

Probably a few seasons, and then it slows (although by then they're terrible anyway). You should probably just bring in some younger starters.

my best pitcher is cook who should of had the Dr.K ability since he strikes out so many batters i may think about not resigning some bench and minor leaguers except pitchers to save some salary also with my lineup pretty young.

My experience is similar, although I haven't had older dominating pitchers like Martinez. Mainly, my older pitchers have been Hideo Nomo and another FA pitcher in the initial season. I think after 2 years, Nomo's stamina drops to a C and then his forkball drops, while the other guy tends to lose pitch levels.

In my 3rd season (PowerPros) and Ichiro Suzuki dropped from something like ABB to CCC. I don't remember him dropping like that on the prior times I played multiple seasons.
