I was just playing my season team (Ottawa Pisskats) against the Twins. They had Kuo on the mound and I dinged him up pretty hard (2-run HR, solo HR, walk, 2 more hits), all back-back. So he's just standing on the mound in a blue-star haze, taking what seemed like 10 seconds between pitches, and I had Ethier on 1st. I'm tapping the steal button like mad to get a good lead and...BOOM! He just took-off for second and the pitcher hadn't even threw the ball yet! Of course he was pretty much on second when the catcher threw down.I've never seen that before. They have never broke for second before the pitcher either threw home or tried to pick me off. Has anyone else here seen that? It was pretty cool, I must admit! |
